It is not for the weak of the heart. Day two of commenting and I have received so much hate. I do believe I am fighting for the right cause, which gives me the strength to continue this book and also hold onto my Reddit account. Hope you guys don't receive it in case you also are on Reddit.
That platform is supposed to be one for interaction, clarification and spreading love, like all social media platforms. Going through shit every day does not give you the liberty to be rude about it. Agreed, it is tiring, but that should not define who you are as a person. If you disagree with someone, be polite about it. You have no idea what mental state they are in. If you don't like the way someone phrases something, say it, but there is no need to be rude about it.
Social media should be the platform for spreading hope, not hate. Be polite, no matter what. Especially if you don't know the state of the person. He or she might also be on the verge of suicide when they see your shitpost and it could be the final push factor. Are you ready to live with the fact that you might have caused the death of someone you didn't even know, all because you were rude?
