One-Shot Stories Compilation (Part Three)

ONE

"Why did you stop loving me?" He looked at me and smile.

It's our first conversation after our break up six months ago. I can say that we are both happy now. We didn't regret anything.  We changed each other and now, we've changed for the better.

"Because you never started. You were so idiot that time. Imagine, you lost a pretty woman like me." I joked.

I'm glad that we are matured enough to be this civil to each other. We can do jokes about our past and can talk casually.

"Oh I'm sorry 'bout that. I'm just too handsome for you. Hahaha." He defended.

We laughed in our own jokes while reminiscing our past moments. It's like backreading a good conversation. I'm really happy that we are still friends after those circumstances.

"But you know what? I'm really happy that I was once yours and you were once mine. Let's keep those memories. Best friends?" He said. I think, we are really meant to be friends.

I accepted her handshake offer, "This is corny but we can be best friends for forever."

I realized, being friends with your ex-boyfriend is not bad at all. You can just be mature to understand how it goes.

My boyfriend for two years is now my best friend for eternity.
