"Sometimes, the person you'd take a bullet for, is behind the trigger." I said while staring at the children playing in front of us.

I smiled when I looked at him. He's just seriously looking at me like I am some trash he could just left anywhere.

"I didn't know that you could cheat. Again. Hindi ko man lang nahalatang may iba ka na naman pala. But you know what hurts the most?" I stared at his eyes for a minute until he looked away.

So I continued, "It was when I knew you already broke your promise but I still trusted you. Remember? You promised that you will love me and only me forever. Akala ko totoo na. 'Yon pala, sinabi mo lang 'yon para maniwala ulit ako sa 'yo. Akala ko tayo na. Hindi pa rin pala."

I managed to smile, but this time, it is a wry smile. Hindi ko akalaing lolokohin na naman niya ako. Akala ko nagsisi na siya sa ginawa niya dati, 'yon pala uulitin niya pa.

"But atleast, I learned something from you. It's to never trust anyone again. So, I'm still thankful that I met you." I stared at him again before leaving.

Maybe, this is for the good. No one's gonna hurt, and they will be happy.

Ako? Magiging masaya rin naman ako.

Hindi nga lang ngayon.
