TWENTY FOUR

"Did you ever love me?" He asked which made me laugh in tears.

"Did I ever love you? Are you serious?" I can't believe him.

I stared at his eyes before speaking again, "You know I did!"

"But you ruined me because you know that I'll love you over and over again even if you're gonna hurt me." My voice cracked but I didn't mind it.

"I think... that's what I should ask you. Did you ever love me?"

He just looked down without answering my question.

So he really didn't.

I guess, sometimes, silence is not meant for yes.
