Okay so, it's Valentine's Day, oh joy, another holiday that reminds me that I'm lonely af and it's all my f*@&"$g fault.

That was dramatic, okay let's talk about John Smith and Pocahontas now.

Because Disney amazingly decided to adapt the Real Story of Pocahontas, POCAHONTAS, and turn that into a Disney Princess Movie, I have mixed feelings about this.

Good things first. They have Chemistry, they learn from each other, John's interactions with Meeko, Flit, and Grandma Groot they go against their loved ones to be together, it's basically a Romeo and Juliet type Story.... which would be good, if Pocahontas wasn't an actual Historical Event that didn't go too well for the Native Americans that were murdered and forced off their Land.

Okay so, number one problem I have with this, History, not just the fact that it actually happened, but the way Disney developed it. Originally in the Movie Pocahontas was supposed to be closer to the age she actually was when the settlers came, which is twelve (Worth noting that John Smith was like forty at that point). She would also have to go through the process of learning English and there was no romance. Then some bozo decided to make Pocahontas look like an Emily Fields look-a-like Supermodel and eighteen. Congratulations Disney, I've lost all respect for you. That is of course a joke, I lost all respect for Disney when they started making Remakes.

So yeah, this Couple doesn't have the best track record, I'm pretty sure at one point a guy said: "She's a Disney Character, she has to be hot."

One of the many reasons of why I don't like Pocahontas Ships is because Pocahontas was indeed, a real Person, and I want to respect that as much as possible so, I've set myself a list of Rules:

-No shipping Pocahontas with anyone.

-Don't ever, EVER mention the Sequel, it's somehow as disrespectful as the original.

-No drawing a sexualized Pocahontas.

I know those are only like three Rules I'm following, but cut me some slack, it's two in the morning and I decided to write this for some stupid reason.

Anyways, this is a good Ship when you ignore the History, which is why I'll be giving it two ratings.

7/10, as its standalone Ship, just a sheltered Native American Girl that has animal Friends and a Tree Grandma falling in love with a British Immigrant.

4/10, when I consider the actual History.
