(I'm gonna talk about both the original and Live Action one here)
Original: Eh. LeFou is pretty annoying and Gaston is, and I can say this with 100% certainty, not gay. Gaston is a Villain and LeFou is kinda pathetic. He's not over the top annoying like Abu, but my god he throws the Romantic Tone of that Film off. Don't get me wrong, him constantly talking about how great Gaston is definitely reminds me of the way Genie talks about Aladdin, but I don't think they'd fit together.

Live Action: Wow Josh Gad plays a dorky gay Character, how original.
Well since they try to make LeFou less annoying here, I can actually like this ship a little more. Gaston isn't really Gaston and LeFou isn't really LeFou, so it kinda works.
Also, LeFou wasn't Disney's first gay Character, that award goes to:

Anyways, 7/10, for some reason it makes more sense to me than the animated one.
