(I'm watching Descendants 3, and Belle said something along the lines of "People are gonna be afraid to leave their Houses, what will we tell them?" Reminds me of a certain Country now, you can definitely tell that this Country was based on America.)
Ah, the original Descendants Couple. It put in zero effort into giving these two any Chemistry. A fitting Metaphor for the Franchise.

So in the first Movie Mal puts a Spell on this Dude, who mind you has a Girlfriend, so she can Manipulate him into helping her Destroy a Country. So already, not a good setup for a Romance. An awful one actually. At least Hercules was pissed at Meg for betraying him, this Bland-A$$ Idiot is just fine with it.
Then in the second Movie he gets pissed at her for using Magic. Literal Magic. HELLO, Magic might be a little helpful in a World where every other day there's a Villain attack. With all the Remakes Disney is making you might see some pathetic Idiots that look nothing like the originals try take over the World. They both completely screw over their Relationship, and let's not forget that Mal actually has a personality while Ben... is as bland and talented as Bread. Actually, never mind, Bread is amazing, at least the German one. Bread is more interesting and talented than this guy.
Also in the third Movie Mal destroys Bens hard work by not letting People into the Country for something they have no Control over, again you can tell that this was based off the US.
They're not a good Couple, and I feel like Mal would be better if she was single. This Relationship has caused her to do dumb and idiotic things at every turn.
