Okay, the Daughter of Mulan dating the Son of Jafar. This Franchise is weird.
I guess I'd be more forgiving of Lonnie wasn't basically Mulan. They give her the same Character Arc, for gods sake! She has to prove herself to dumbass sexists Dudes who won't let her fight. Also, THIS is Cinderella's kid?

This a$$hole that probably had everything handed to him? He's one of the worst, most annoying Characters Disney ever put out, and they actually try to make him a funny, likable Character! At least in Mulan they knew that Chi Fu was so damn unlikable, so they basically made him an antagonist. It's just- shgejqhfakak
Had to get a few things off my Chest there.
Anyways, I like how Jay basically gives up his Position as Captain of the Fencing Team for someone who is way more deserving. I'm so glad they actually further developed their Romance into something worthwhile- aaaannddd Lonnie isn't in Descendants 3, fun.
Why build up a Romance that I was starting to get Invested in, just to do absolutely nothing with it? It it so they could develop a Romance between Jay and Gil or whatever his name is?
5/10, it went absolutely nowhere and wasn't developed, but they're still kinda cute
