Aiden P.O.V.

"What's going on? Where is he? Is he okay? What happened?" I pushed past August who stood in the doorway and Tyson, who stood in the hallway. I could feel August following right after me, but I didn't stop. I didn't care. "Where. Is. He?" I was squeezing my hands into fists so tight, my keys were digging into the palm of my hand. The metal was piercing my skin, but I didn't care.

I couldn't care. Not right now.

August came up to me, blocking my access to any other room in the house. He was my best friend, but I was not afraid to go through him in his own house. "What. Happened. August?" You don't just call someone, tell them it's an emergency, and hang up the phone before giving any details. And you definitely didn't purposely not answer any of the tons of follow up calls.

So I was pissed at him. And rightfully so. He told me nothing.

"Sit down." He put his hand on my shoulder, trying to push me down to his couch. He jutted his chin out to Tyson. "Get him a glass of water please, would you?"

I shrugged his hand from my shoulder with a grunt. "I don't need a glass of water." I needed to see my boy.

"I didn't ask you what you needed. I told you to Sit. Down. Gaelic." The sound of that name gave me pause. It was my middle name. He didn't use it unless he was serious, deadly serious.

I ground my teeth, tilting my head to the side and relishing in the cracks and pops that exploded from the motion. "Fine." My nostrils flared in anger. I didn't know if I would even make it a full minute sitting here. All I knew was Ace was in trouble and by the sounds of it, he was hurt, and that alone was enough to worry me and piss me off all at the same time.

I let out a loud breath and collapsed into the gray sectional. "You've got three minutes." Probably less, I thought, but I didn't add that.

Tyson walked over and tried to hand me the glass of water which I didn't take. He understood and instead placed it on the table next to me before walking away. I would apologize to him later, but right now, everyone was in my way and I was on the warpath.

August sat across from me on the ottoman. That should have been my first indication that something was wrong. He was blocking me from doing anything. "Do you know where Ace was tonight?"

"Practicing with Sandra Lux at the center. I introduced the two of them when I took him to a show."

"Well, Sandra brought...a friend to their practice and Ace told us that when he went to the bathroom,"He began rushing his words and blurring then together. "the friend followed him in there and assaulted him. He spoke up about it to Sandra and she wasn't so kind about it, basically told him he was lying and to leave them alone. My brain didn't comprehend what he'd said until a few moments later.

"Assaulted him? What do you-? Do you mean sexually assau-? Do you mean he was raped?" My voice started out in shock, but I was livid by the time the last question escaped my mouth. I leapt up from the couch, August standing up with me.

Seriously, I was about to throw him through a wall.

"No, that's not what I said. He was assaulted. Calm down." His voice was just pissing me off even more right now. He was way too calm for this.

"Calm down?! Did he want to be touched?" August shook his head. "No? Then, that's rape! I don't give a fuck what the politically correct term is!" Suddenly, I found myself picking up that glass Tyson had gotten me and throwing it at the wall. It felt damn good. It shattered loudly and the water splashed against the wall. "Shit! I'll pay for that."
