I'd never seen Aiden so disoriented. For someone that had traveled so much because of work and going to meet clients, he sure didn't seem to like the whole traveling thing very much.

We were standing in the early boarding line for a flight to Bali, Indonesia. I never would've dreamed that I would go anywhere outside of the United States, let alone to an island country in South East Asia. I only found that out we were going to Bali because he didn't have control over the fact that the destination was plastered all over the TVs at the terminal we were at. I'm sure that if he could've had that control, he would've exerted it.

"I'm surprised you didn't put us on your private jet." I was trying to distract him from the freak out that he was inevitably having to go through. His knuckles would burst through his skin if he gripped our suitcases any tighter.

He looked down at me, a blank expression on his face. "It was going through maintenance today."

"Of course." I huffed, causing a spurt of laughter to escape from his lips.

"I don't actually have a private jet. They are extremely costly and I try not to travel that much if I can help it, but sometimes business calls." He pondered the thought over in his head. "Or a lover wants to take a trip."

"You better not be taking me on some run of the mill trip that you take all your lovers on. If this was Dubai, I would've caught a cab back home by now." That I'd gotten from Gigi. Apparently all the social media models went to Dubai to do things that I'm not sure I'd ever want to repeat, let alone think about. But truth be told, he could've taken me anywhere in the world and I would've been perfectly content with it.

He shook his head. "I don't doubt you, but don't worry, you're the first conquest I've ever taken out of the country."

I smacked his arm. "Don't be an asshole."

He feigned hurt and released the suitcases to rub his arm. "You wound me."

I smiled unwillingly. "For a Dom, you sure are goofy."

He stayed silent, as if mulling the thought over in his mind. "I never thought about it. I have relaxed a lot of my old ways. You bring it out of me I guess. I like seeing a smile on your face. But make no mistake, I still have it in me in case you were thinking of testing me."

I shook my head. I didn't mean to insinuate that I didn't like it. I was only teasing him. "No, I just was-"

"I know. It's okay. If it makes you happy, I'm happy. I will warn you though, I may be slightly more strict on this vacation of ours, only because I believe that you need it. There has been a lot happening in our life lately and I think you need a chance to shut off that beautiful brain of yours." He reached out and touched the small of my back pushing me in front of him and forward in line as one of the attendants began boarding us onto the plane.

Aiden got us first-class tickets. Of course. At first I believed the only reason he doesn't have a private jet is probably because of the maintenance, but now that I was sitting next to him, I could see that he was way more nervous than he was letting on.

"Are you okay?" I leaned over the armrest to speak to him softly. We each had our own padded reclining chair that almost felt like a big hug because it was so large.

"I'll be fine."

He didn't seem like he would be fine. His foot had been tapping ever since we sat down. "How do you normally fly? You seem a little anxious if you don't mind me saying so." I was hoping I wouldn't piss him off, but I couldn't help if he didn't let me.

He snorted. "Well, normally, I would've taken a pill and have been knocked out by now."

"And you didn't take one?"
