Feeling frustrated with every futile search.

Daniel Austin has not been the same ever since the encounter with a certain redhead.

He has been searching for her on every social media platforms.

Unfortunately, luck hasn't been on his side.

The only information he had of her was as good as nothing.

Lilith, redhead.

That's all he knew.

How the hell was he supposed to find her with that.

He was going crazy.

"Going by the market result , it will be reasonable to go for the rebranding"

" What do you think, Mr. Austin? "

" Mr. Austin? "

Looking up from his phone disoriented,
" err... Yeah, that's right. That'll be all for today's meeting. Thank you".

That was a close one. He almost slipped in front of his employees.

This is getting out of hand.

Everyone went back to their different posts.

Everyone, except for Ace.

Ace was Daniel's business partner.

He was staring at Daniel with disapproval.

"You need to pull yourself together, Daniel"

"I mean it's been what, a month, man. What's so special about this girl".

" I wasn't thinking about her"

" So, you want to tell me everyone didn't notice you were distracted during the meeting".

"You've  been like this for the past weeks, man".

" Don't let it cost you before you wake up".

Shit.

He knew Ace was right. He didn't pay attention to the meeting.

He was searching for her. Typing her name on every goddamn site.

It was unusual for him to be this affected by a girl. Girl he met just fucking once.

Standing up from the chair, he faced Ace with a serious expression on his face.

"I have to find her"
"That's the only way. I tried forgetting about her but obviously it's not working. "

" How do you intend on doing that? You have just her name. You haven't been successful with the social medias either".

" Don't worry. I know just what to do".

Walking out of the conference room, his only regret was that this thought didn't occur to him earlier.

Daniel got to his office. He dialed a number.

"I have a job for you"
"I'll forward the details to your email"
" Thanks".

Dropping the call, he felt somewhat relieved.

Daniel immersed himself in his work for half of the day.

At the reception, an attractive blonde was causing nuisance.

"Miss Paige, you can't go in. Mr. Austin is occupied" Clara, the receptionist said.

" Did Daniel put you up to this? " Nora said angrily.

"No, he truly is busy and you can't go in" Clara said with smug.

She was furious " you bitch, who do you think you are to stop me" Nora got into her face.

Nora held Clara's wrist in a death grip.

"Try stopping me again and see what happens to you, whore". She sneered with an ugly expression.

Clara was fuming but she couldn't do anything.

Releasing her wrist, "I'll go see him now, thank you" she smiled sweetly.

Muttering under her breath, psychotic bitch. Clara massaged her wrist.

Nora entered Daniel's office without knocking.

"Hello Daniel" she smiled sweetly like an angel.

Daniel looked up from his laptop.

With raised eyebrow, "what are you doing here, Nora?"

"What? No greetings? Danny" Nora said amused.

" I don't have time for your antics, Nora."

"Please, take your leave. I'm busy".

" But baby, I just got here. Let's go have lunch".

" What part of I'm busy do you not understand?"

Nora moved towards Daniel. She tried seducing him but he didn't respond.

Daniel didn't even look up from typing on his laptop.

"Don't pretend like I don't affect you, Danny". She purred.

Daniel removed her hands from his body.

" Stay away from me, Nora"

"You can't really mean that, Danny bear" Nora pouted.

" I'm serious, Nora. Get out of my office"

"Fine. But know that you're making a big mistake and you'll regret it".

"Have a good life, Nora".

Sighing. What a nuisance.

It's not like Nora wasn't beautiful. Heck with her hourglass shape and face of a siren.

Daniel was once attracted to her.

Her behavior didn't match her appearance and that was why he didn't pursuit her.

She was one hell of crazy.

And now, no woman can capture his attention.

He had eyes for Lilith only.

Her eyes.

It has been filled with his mind since that day.

" Hey, man. You ready to head out, it's 6pm?"

"Nah. I still have some papers to go through. Will probably take me an hour."

" Alright. Have fun with the papers".

" Idiot"

" I'm out".

Daniel's stomach rumbled. He shouldn't have skipped lunch. Now, he's famished.

But he was determined to finish the work on his table before heading home.

He wasn't a workaholic. He just liked getting things done at the right time.
