I’m still looking at this creature, eyes wide open and mouth agape. I don’t get it. Why is he here? How in the heaven did he find me? I feel like I am about to lose the strength my knees are having when I heard my mom hurriedly and literally runs down the stairs. But I can’t still take my gaze off him. He’s wearing his usual outfit. Pero hindi iyon ang kailangan kong pagtuunan ng pansin ngayon.

“Oh, hijo. I told you I can handle,” Mimi walks toward him. Maybe she’s pertaining to the knife in Wren’s hand dahil kinuha niya ‘yon nang makalapit siya sa kanya. “You’re my daughter’s visitor. You should sit, relax and let me do the cooking,” She smiles at Wren and beckons him to the living room. Sumunod naman ako sa kanila.

Just the thought of him, walking on the same floor as I am, is unfavorable. Frightening. The other evil is in my house! Talking to my mom and invading our kitchen and living room! For pete’s sake. What should I do?

“It’s fine with me, Madame. Mahilig lang po talaga akong magluto. My mom taught me.” He said, smiling, then turned his gaze on me.

It really creeps me out to see him smile like he’s up to something not really good. Of course, Zy! It’s just normal for you to act like this because he also tried to kill you, once. Ugh. Why do these creatures want me dead, anyway? No one’s ever worth killing!

Napailing nalang ako ng paulit-ulit. Hindi ko talaga alam kung bakit nandito ang lalaking ‘to. Si Mimi, naman parang tuwang-tuwa pa na nandito si Wren.

My mom clapped her hands, once and smiled like a lunatic. Seriously, Mimi? “I should meet her, sometimes,” Wren nodded in response as he sat on our sofa.

“I’ll gladly tell her, Madame.” Magalang na sabi ni Wren.

I don’t really know what happened on their race. But one thing’s for certain. No one can easily get away with that demon Leo. Kaya siguro ganoon nalang kung protektahan ng mga races na ‘yon ang Mystic Palace. I get it now.

“Hoy. Ano’ng balak mo dyan?”
