"I have a mission to do that will take up most of my time. Damian, I am going to give you a mission; a test, if you will." Talia spoke.

"What is my mission, Mother?" he questioned.

Talia looked around the marketplace and spotted a young girl about her son's age. 'Perfect.'

"Her." she said, pointing out a girl in pink.

"Am I too kill her?" Damian asked.

"No, my son. This is an intelligence mission." she stated, "Most girls have a secret they never tell anyone. See if you can gain her trust. Your mission will end when we return home. You must report to me every night on what you have learned about that girl."

"Yes, Mother." he stated, heading into the bazaar.

"I have returned." stated Damian, entering their temporary living space.

"What have you learned about the girl?" Talia asked.

"The girl's name is Marinette Dupain-Cheng. She speaks French. She is visiting for the summer with her 'Nona'. Her grandmother drives a motorcycle and her parents are bakers. She prefers match over strawberry, but enjoys the combination of both in an ice cream." Damian spoke.

"Well, you managed to gather your targets name and learned a bit of background information." Talia began, "She's a child. Act like one. You need to get close to your target without giving away you only need information from them. Question everything. For example: Why is she here with her Nona and not her parents? Is she from around the area or outside of the country? Is French her first language?"

"Yes, Mother. Understood." Damian responded, "I will be turning in." and headed to his room.

'I know this is hard on you, my son. You are not allowed to be a child, but you can be one here. Learn to adapt.'

Damian had spent two weeks with Marinette, acting like a child. He found it tedious. She loved the adventure of it all.

He began to show her the sights and where to find the best deals on anything in the bazaar. He noticed her eyes gravitate to the stands with fabric and jewelry.

"Did you want something?" he finally asked her.

"Oh, no, but thank you for asking." Marinette smiled.

'Question everything.' his mother's voice rang in the back of his mind.

"I assumed you wanted something since you kept looking at the jewelry and fabrics." he stated.

Curiously, he watched as she blushed and looked down to her shoes.

"I want to be a fashion designer when I grow up, but I don't think my stuff is that great." she spoke.

'An inferiority complex. Great.' he thought.

"Do you have any designs?" he asked.

Marinette nodded and pulled out a sketchbook from her satchel.

'These are very professional looking. Mother would wear these on her missions.'

"They are not horrible." Damian spoke, handing it back to her, "Don't doubt yourself."

"What have you learned today?" asked Talia.

"Marinette has an inferiority complex. She wants to be a fashion designer when she is older and she has a great talent for it." Damian spoke.
