Now we have returned to the world of International Rescue. We also hang around in deep space. BANG! Another white fuzz of energy beams emitting powerfully, the same from the Whoniverse. The Orb bursts through! The field shuts. All that is left is just more empty space again. It then begins drifting forward again, rapidly gaining more and more and more acceleration. Now, it charges, rocketing! At the same time, it begins scanning the surrounding planets it passes, now decreasing speed. Entering the solar system, it begins further scanning the planets and asteroids around. This small little orb – small enough to be unseen yet big enough to be detected by instruments. It scans; Pluto, Neptune, Uranus, Saturn, Jupiter, Mars, until finally Earth it detects. It begins flying directly towards planet Sole. Eventually, it slows down and begins to scan the Earth as it holds a position.

Then, it slowly begins orbiting around the planet, scanning and observing it. The Orb's presence is not unnoticed, however. Space City, HQ for the World Space Patrol. We see the revolving and massively tall tower situated by a runway where a Fireball craft is beginning to prepare for takeoff on the track. XL28 blasts its motors and scoots off along, reaching the end quickly. It runs off into the sky magnificently as the ramp is thrown off into the desolate grounds elsewhere. From the window which revolves in time with the flight, Commander Zero turns back around to his associate Lieutenant Ninety manning the radio desk.

Commander Zero:

You know Lieutenant, watching a Fireball ship takeoff is never going to get boring, ever.

Lieutenant Ninety:

No sir. Space City to Fireball XL28, you are now leaving Earth's atmosphere. We wish you a pleasant trip to Pluto.

Fireball XL28:

Thank you Space City. There seems to be a strange orb floating around near us. Can you identify it for us, we certainly can't.

Commander Zero:

What's the trouble, Lieutenant?

Lieutenant Ninety:

A strange orb floating around the Earth. Like it's orbiting around the Earth sir. It isn't stopping around sir. The orb is like a satellite.

Commander Zero:

Can we identify it?

Lieutenant Ninety:

Well Commander, it's not one of ours. Nor is it from any human based construction.

Commander Zero:

Spies, 'ay Lieutenant?

Lieutenant Ninety:

Possibly. But it's not posing any hostile threat to us.

We see from the Earth the Orb gently circling the Earth, before zooming up to see Thunderbird 5. John stands the control console to his satellite carefully listening in to communications.

Commander Zero:

Well, can you try and make contact out of it?

Lieutenant Ninety:

I'll try sir. This is Space City calling UFO. Space City calling UFO, do you receive me... Come in UFO. Do you receive me? This is Space City calling UFO.

Commander Zero:

No Lieutenant. Seems like we may have a situation developing. It looks like we need assistance from the SHEF and other organisations.

John:

(To himself) Maybe Commander Zero. Besides, I'll run my own scan of what that object is. Hopefully, it's nothing too problematic.
