The IronSword hasn't seen Thunderbird 1 flying around the city, as Scott hides between the towers and other safe parts. The fire brigade and emergency services on the ground help to save and protect people from dangers and terrors, crumbling and or toppling buildings around them. Remarkably, nobody has died yet. The people on the ground cheer for Thunderbird 1 hovering over.
Scott:
Father, I'm trying my best to keep out of his way. The last thing I need is for me to be a target. What I can't understand is why he's letting the city around him be destroyed?
Jeff:
You just have to wait for the Doctor to arrive and take care of him.
Scott:
F.A.B. What about the aircrafts flying into and out of Washington? The test pilot earlier was headed for Washington.
Jeff:
The World President has informed me that all aircrafts within a 50 mile radius of the city have been diverted off course.
Scott:
Right. I hope she's ok.
Fire Brigade:
Washington Fire Brigade to International Rescue? Come in International Rescue.
Scott:
Receiving you loud and clear Washington. What's the status on the ground?
Fire Brigade:
So far we've been able to rescue all of the citizens of the city and are attempting to evacuate the towers as well as the surrounding areas. The people are being evacuated as quickly as possible.
Scott:
How much longer will the evacuation take place?
Fire Brigade:
Difficult to say. Lots of the city have already left. As for the inner and outer city or even suburbs, slower. Seeing as the danger isn't so close. A full-scale evacuation however will be impossible.
Scott:
It's got to be possible! It's just got to! None of us know exactly what that being is capable of! We just have to wait for more members of my organization to further deal with the fugitive. Keep it up officer.
Fire Brigade:
Roger International Rescue!
Scott:
And one more thing. I want your assurance that no photos or video recordings will be relayed of our craft, and that we will not by any means be tracked back to our base.
Fire Brigade:
Understood International Rescue. Over and out.
Scott:
Thunderbird 1 to Thunderbird 2, what is your ETA to the danger zone?
We see Thunderbird 2 fly through the clouds, heading for the danger zone.
Virgil:
Estimated time of arrival fifteen minutes.
Doctor:
Yeah, what's going on with the IronSword up there Scott?
Scott:
Well as far as I can tell he doesn't really seem to be doing much at the moment. Doctor, they don't have any abilities of x-ray? If so then I might as well be a sitting duck to him.
