Thunderbird 1 swoops over the city, Scott looking over the city from above and contacting over the radio. He still worries over the Doctor and Rose, watching the red smoke around the tower.

Scott:

Thunderbird 1 to the Doctor, what's going on down there? Need any help?

The Doctor meticulously fiddles with the circuitry of the gun as Rose help him, holding his sonic screwdriver and radio for him.

Doctor:

Nah, we're fine thanks. Well, we're not actually fine Scott. We've dealt with him for now, taking a nice little nap for now but he'll be back.

Scott:

So you got him yet?

Doctor:

Not yet. He damaged the Particle Holder pretty badly. Burnt up most of the circuitry. Trying my best to fix it.

Rose:

How's it up there Scott?

Scott:

Ah, fine Rose. Almost all of the city centre has been evacuated now. One thing we can't handle is the number of buildings about to topple down.

Rose:

F.A.B. Report later. Keep in touch.

Doctor:

Lots of love and kisses.

Rose:

(Laughing) Shut up! It's not funny anymore.

The Doctor laughs again. Meanwhile, we see the IronSword awake still, just lying on the floor playacting to be dead. His eyes are open and angry for vengeance! Thunderbird 1 in the meantime continues to fly Washington, monitoring its position to keep it safe. Then, another unstable tower is beginning to wobble, shaking slightly as the bricks begin falling off slowly, right above more people running out begin evacuated! They scream as they begin to see it to gently sway.

Fire Brigade:

International Rescue, we have another tower about to fall!

Scott:

Right! I can see it! Be there in a second!

Scott then quickly blasts Thunderbird 1's rockets to fly over to the tower – one of the tallest in Washington! It begins swaying over more! The building begins smoking halfway up! And people begin opening the windows and waving out for rescue!

Fire Brigade:

Thunderbird 1! There are still people in that building!

Scott:

What? Why hasn't it been evacuated?

Fire Brigade:

It has! And it's about to go, and a fire is beginning to grow half way up!

Scott:

Right!

Thunderbird 1 hovers over the tower once more facing the falling side, behind the tower, as we hear people scream and call out for help. Firing a grapple on the other side of the building, Scott steadies her in time before she goes down! The tower is safe again! Inside Thunderbird 1, a scrambled message of static calls out.

Stranded Caller:

Hello? Hello? Can anyone hear me? International Rescue? Fire Brigade? Anyone on the ground? Hello? Hello?

Fire Brigade:

You hear that Thunderbird 1?

Scott:

Yeah! It's coming from inside! What on earth goes on in that tower? Hello tower, this is International Rescue. Are you receiving me? Over?

Stranded Caller:

Yes. Yes we hear you. We've been stranded in the tower ever since the strange beam has been firing everywhere.

Scott:

What's the situation in there?

Stranded Caller:

Stifling! There are some of us trapped on a higher floor. Blocked off from some fallen rubble we can't shift. We're stuck about half way from some more wreck. And we think a fire has started somewhere downstairs.

Scott:

Why didn't you call for help earlier? We were standing by?

Stranded Caller:

Our communications were burnt up when we were hit. I built this portable stand by one from what remains.

Scott:

And how many of you are left stuck up there.

Stranded Caller:

Three of us here. Four upstairs.

CRUMBLE! The tower is about to fall! Thunderbird 1 cannot sustain the extra weight.

Scott:

Engaging maximum power!

Thunderbird 1 does its best to keep the infrastructure as safely and as steady as possible. KABOOM! A fire rockets the lower half of the building, and Scott's grapple is beginning to weaken from the crumbling wall.

NO! The tower isn't going to last much longer! Fire Brigade, stand by!

Fire Brigade:

Right!

Scott:

Thunderbird 1 to Thunderbird 2, Virgil we need you over here, NOW!

Virgil:

F.A.B!

Scott:

Thunderbird 1 to Thunderbird 5, run an immediate scan of all life forms in the centre of Washington in any towers.

John:

F.A.B Scott!

CRUMBLE! KABOOM! ROAR! The tower tumbles over again slightly, enough to hang dangerously over the city!

Scott:

Virgil, HURRY!
