My stomach twisted uncontrollably as Col led me towards the entertainment room. I kept wondering why they could possibly want me. The thought of 'entertaining' them made me sick.
I had heard how the vampires were. They could be degrading towards slaves. Then again, the eldest might be confronting me for earlier today.
As all these thoughts were rushing through my head, I hadn't realized that we had arrived until I noticed Col holding the door open for me.
I glanced at Col who met my eyes. He inclined his head towards me. I walked in, and Col followed me before closing the door behind us.
For some reason, I felt more relieved that Col was with me. That was strange, considering he could turn on me at any moment.
I had never been in this room before. The lights were dimmed, and there were no windows in here.
I noticed a few bookshelves scattered against the walls. There were also several instruments stacked in cases beside a piano.
My eyes finally moved to see the brothers. My eyes first landed on the eldest brother. He was slouching in a leather armchair with his feet propped on a table.
I couldn't help but admit that he was rather mesmerizing. He was dressed in a white dress shirt with his collar slightly askew, along with black pants.
I then looked over at Zyrian. His pale hair was slightly tousled. I noticed that his black button-up shirt was unbuttoned, revealing his slightly pale, muscular chest. I shifted my eyes from his chest, knowing that his cocky self wanted me to gaze at his chest.
Xavier was in the room, as well. As always, he looked completely bored. He stood, turning to his brothers.
"I am going to retire now," he mumbled before picking up his book and leaving the room.
"Good night, dear brother," Zyrian said in an almost mocking tone.
I caught an eye roll from Xavier before he closed the door behind him.
Zyrian smirked at me as his eyes trailed over what I had on. I self-consciously wrapped my arms around my stomach.
His eyes flicked back up to mine, and his snarky smile only grew. I knew I was probably narrowing my eyes at him.
"Zyrian," the eldest brother warned.
Zyrian rolled his eyes. "Fine. If you would be so kind as to entertain me?"
I narrowed my eyes. "Excuse me?"
Zyrian's eyes widened before he fell over on the couch laughing. "You thought-"
He laughed a few more moments before straightening up.
I felt my face become warm from my embarrassment.
Dirty swine.
"Nope. Vampire, luv." Zyrian said pointing to his fangs.
I gasped, realizing that he had just invaded my thoughts. I put a hand over my forehead and glared at him.
"However, I will be more than willing to take you up on the offer." He winked before leaning back on the sofa that was shaped like a crescent moon.
"You mentioned that you play piano, correct? Well, entertain me with your talent," he said.
I glanced over at Col. He shook his head, sensing that I wanted to deny Zyrian's request.
