"Hey, I'ma head out for a bit, you need anything?" Stirring from her sleep, she peeked from under the blankets shaking her head no. Grinning at her sleepy pout, I kissed her nose promising to return before day break. It was pretty early in the morning, but this was the only time bracket she had open. I found myself driving 30 minutes in the direction of Airi's home, as her mother made her entrance into my passenger seat. She really had no clue behind my intentions for our meeting today, but it was important that we do this. She needed to realize the strain she was putting on Airi. I didn't want to picture Airi as a victim or weak woman by any means but.

Everyone had there breaking point.

"It's nice in here, you be taking Airi to nice places like this?" Chuckling at her comment, I helped her seat as I sat across from her. We were at one of my favorite breakfast places called Romania's. It was pretty middle class vibe. Nice open restaurant, with a nice warm front blowing in to keep us cool from the Texas heat.

"Yeah, this and more. She's the mocha princess after all." Grinning at me, she ordered her meal and I my own. We ate majority of our meals, before a familiar knot of anxiety gathered in my stomach killing my appetite. All I can say is, I hope she took this information better than my parents and that Airi doesn't murder me later for being the one to reveal such a secret.

"You okay? You're sweating a little bit." Removing my hat, I took the wet napkins she offered me and dabbed it across my forehead. I was scared shitless.

"I want to talk to you about Airi, and I just want to put a lot of things on the table especially pertaining to her Father." At this she sat her utensils down, and tuned in to listen to me.

"I'm listening." Taking a sip of her water, she sighed and sat back her face hard.

"I just. I know Airi is your oldest daughter and the most reliable probably in your eyes. But don't you think you should just take it a little bit easier on her? I mean Damon and Dana are capable of helping out to." I stated, leaving that suggestion hanging there in the air for her to ponder.

"I beg you're pardon? You're right Airi is more than capable and that's why she does exactly what she's asked to no questions asked. If I wanted Damon and Dana to do it I would've set that up already don't you think?" She piped, her body language changing vastly as she shifted around in her seat across from me.

"Yes so that's why I'm asking that you help give Airi some slack. You know and I know what happens when Airi spirals. I have a very bad feeling that that's comi-"

"Well let her tell it you have a part in a few of her spirals." I could tell she was becoming defensive from the way she was deflecting, but I refused to let my temper ruin this or her attitude.

This moment was for Airi's benefit and hers alone.

"Janay I mean no harm or disrespect that I can most definitely assure you. All this conversation is about is assisting Airi to have a healthier and happy life. I mean she's stressed out Janay! Her father encourages her to go out and have fun but she can't even do it without feeling guilty. And you.. you." Sighing when I saw the way she was mean mugging me, I guzzled half of my cup of water down.
