"Thanks again." Rubbing his eyes, he waved goodbye to me as I stepped off his porch. It was still dark outside and no one was around as I climbed in my car and reversed slowly. I didn't want anyone to hear me as I left, but once I hit the road I found myself feeling lost. I legit had no where to go, so I parked myself in the parking lot and just watched the sun rise.
"Who knew things would get this bad when you left?" I whispered eyeing the box, now dried with running paint. I didn't care, and nestled him in my lap closing my eyes and imaging him sitting right there hugging me close. It's what I needed the most right now.
Bzz. Bzz.
Sighing I checked my phone as it vibrated, seeing a message from Nique in the group chat.
"I have some good news! Link at my house later!" I had no idea why she was up at the crack of dawn, and that excited but I ignored the message for now as I started my car. I had one place I needed to go right now.

"Airioanna! Goodmorning, nice to see you so early!!" The drive was about 27 minutes from where I was at, so when I arrived it was about 7:05. No one was here yet, so hopefully I had a first come first serve basis available.
"Nice to see you as well." I smiled, following her into her office as she shut her door. With her back turned to me she questioned if I wanted coffee which I declined.
"So? What brings you to my office today?" She asked, tipping her mug to her lips as she looked at me. Adverting my gaze, I clenched my hands together tightly under her desk.
"I'd like to...move into your apartments. I need my own place." She looked taken aback, but followed her usual routine and placed the book with the available apartments on her desk.
"Now last time you were here, you mentioned a boyfriend? Will he be moving in with you?" Pausing at the mention of him, I shook my head no. She frowned but flipped a few pages, until she landed on the studio apartments.
"Okay I'm sorry. But...I don't want a studio apartment or a one bedroom. I need at least a condo or a three bedroom apartment." She gave me a questionable look before closing the book, and reaching for her book labeled "Luxury Condo's." If I wanted to change the course of my life, I had to elevate my situation and the company I kept.
This was step 2.
The first step being finishing school, which I was very close to doing.
"The condos we offer here are large-"
"That's fine, what's the rent?" Sighing, she sifted through some papers before landing on what she was looking for.
"For our 2-3 bedroom luxury condo's the rent will be 1,10 a month plus the cost of bills such as, central air, and gas. Anything else like water and heat is free of charge. You don't pay your bills and rent at the same time of course." I wasn't going to lie, I didn't know the first thing about having my own place and I wasn't all to sure I even had enough clothes to fill one room. My bed was at the new house, and I didn't want to even bother going to go get it. I was just planning on buying new clothes at this point, but something inside of me couldn't resist going and getting the clothes and things Tray gifted me.
"That's fine, I have the money." I smiled, taking the book from her hand and flipping through the available condos. I selected a three bedroom condo, with an upstairs and downstairs attributed to it. It had two living room spaces, two bathrooms and an open kitchen/dining room area. Smiling wide at her, I began signing off on the papers and forms I would need to.
