When you are sorrowful look again in your heart, and you shall see that in truth you are weeping for that which has been your delight.

"I'll see you later baby." Swaying from side to side as we hugged, I molded my lips to his in a soft kiss before pulling away. Getting situated behind the wheel, I waved to him as he ran back inside to get back to the baby. By the end of this month Corey would be moved from the ICU, and Carmen would have better range of mobility. Even better she'd be able to take Cj back, since they were moving Corey to a different floor. Feeling my phone buzz, I answered on my Bluetooth.

"Hello?" Stopping at a red light, I glanced at my phone to see Dana's face.

"Hey, morning. You on the way home?" She asked, shuffling, on the other end loudly.

"Yeah I am, just left Tray's why what's up?" I asked, pulling off as the light turned green.

"Oh nothing Ma about to take me to the airport, no body was here to watch Ju and Damon is coming with us. I just wanted to see you before I left....I'm scared." Hearing the fear seep into her voice, I struggled not to get emotional. My brother and sisters could be a real pain sometimes, but I helped raised them practically and I only wanted what was best for them.

"Dana boo, don't be scared. You've always wanted to do this, you've talked about this since we were kids." She was traveling abroad for school, a school in Germany. She was so excited to get that full ride scholarship, and to be able to have the opportunity to learn German. But right now, her voice was trembling as they got in the car.

"I'm going to miss you." Sighing when I heard the sound of her sniffling, I shook my head as our mother attempted to soothe her in the background.

"I'm going to miss you to. But you're going to get so comfortable out there, that you won't even remember feeling this scared." Chewing on my lip as silence followed, I pulled into the driveway. I probably had just missed them about four minutes short.

"Okay. Take care of Dad for me, he was sleeping this morning when I went to say goodbye to him." Stepping out of the car into the warmth of the morning, I leaned against my car for a moment.

"Don't I always? I'll have him message you when he wakes up. I'm sure he'll be grumpy he missed your send off, so make sure to send him a bunch of lovey Dovey messages and some pictures of you on your flight." Smiling when I heard her soft laugh, I pushed my way into the house. Locking the door behind me, I settled my things on the kitchen table, looking up when I heard soft footsteps from above.

"Alright I gotta go now, text you when I get there. Love you." She whispered, the car door slamming shut in her background.

"Love you to pooh." Closing my eyes as she ended the call, I pressed my hand to my face willing myself not to cry. She had to grow up and come into her own, as a woman. It was only natural.

"Dad?" Hearing his grunt in reply, I pulled my bag from the table as I walked up the stairs and threw my bag into my room. Spinning on my heel just in time, I caught him as he stumbled down the steps onto the second level of our house.

"Thanks honey bee." Feeling his lips graze my forehead, I helped him into the bathroom and left him to himself. Standing against the wall, I sighed listening to him stand and flush the toilet. The water ran for a moment to long, but the door swung open to reveal his smiling face.
