The Flight-Charlie One Shot for Ellie <3

"The flight leaving to London takes off in five minutes," Ellie heard as she ran through the airport as fast as her legs could take her.

"We're not going to make it." she shouted to her best friend, Madison breathlessly as they kept running. Ellie underestimated the amount of traffic there would be while getting to the airport so now she was certain they would miss the plane. But as they turned to the next corner they saw the plane outside the window. Ellie brethed a sigh of relief because it hadn't taken off yet. They quickly showed their passports and tickets to the lady at the counter and move ahead to board the plane. When they entered the plane a flight attendant said, "I'm sorry ma'am but we do not have two seats together because the flight is packed. Do you'll mind sitting seperately?"

Ellie looked at Madison, unsure and because she's out of breath Madison just nods. The flight attendant leads Ellie to her seat, right beside a really cute boy who loked about her age. He did not notice her because his eyes were closed and he had his earphones. Ellie assumed he was listening to music. She placed her bag in the overhead comartment and then sat down, that's when the boy opened his eyes and noticed that someone was beside him. As Ellie sat down, she tried to catch her breath, closing her eyes and taking deep breaths. Because of all that hustle and bustle she comletely forgot about her fear of planes (flying). As she registered in her brain that she was in a plane which was about to take off, the plane started to move and eventually went up in the air. Ellie grabbed the hand of the boy sitting next to her in fear. When she realized what she did she said to him, "I'm really sorry. It's just that I hate flying." but she doesn't let go of his hnd.

He smiled and said, "That's alright. I used to be scared of flying too." and he placed his other hand on top of hers giving it a reassuring squeeze. They remained in that position until they were safely in the air. When Ellie realized he hadn't moved even though she felt safe now that they were in the air she looked at him. He was listening to his music again with his eyes closed. Ellie took this time to  take in all his handsome features. He must have sensed Ellie looking at him because he shot his eyes iopen and caught her staring. Ellie looked down at her feet, embarassed.

"My name is Charlie,' the boy said.

"I'm Ellie," she replied.

From then on they became fast friends and throughout the flight they were talking and talking like there was no tomorrow. Before she knew it the flight had landed and bth of them were going their seperate ways and this made her sad. But as she was leaving the airport with Madison, Charlie came running upto her, handed her a piece of paper and said, "Here's my number. I hope I can see you again." amd you smiled in agreement
