Courtney was three years and old when her family moved from Florida to London. She was a shy girl so she didn't have many friends in the beginning. But, after three months the neighbor’s four year old son seemed to take a keen interest in her. So one day he forced his parents to take him to her house.
The families had met before but Charlie was not with them at that time because he was shy.
But it felt like he was not shy anymore because when Courtney's mother opened the door he walked straight up to Courtney and said, “HI, I’m Charlie."
Courtney put a smile on her face, "My name is Courtney and I am three years old" she said showing him three fingers.
"I like your pigtails," Charlie said.
Courtney didn't say anything.
After a few minutes Charlie asked, “Can I play with you?"
She nodded her hear.
Since then they have been best of friends
*Present Day*
"CHARLIE STOP THAT RIGHT NOW" Courtney, now a beautiful 15 year old teenager screamed at Charlie who became a 16 year old pop star and was in a band called 'Stereo Kicks'.
Courtney was screaming at Charlie because he was on top of het on the couch, tickling her to know a secret. They never hide secrets from each other but Courtney could not tell him this one.
"I won't stop until you tell me who you like," Charlie said with a mischievous look in his eyes.
"OKAY FINE I'LL TELL YOU BUT YOU HAVE TO TELL ME WHO YOU LIKE FIRST," Courtney screamed while laughing.
She couldn't bare it anymore. She was laughing so hard tears started to fall from her eyes.
"Fine," Charlie said and stopped tickling her.
They both sat back on the couch and Charlie started to speak, "The girl like is really beautiful, talented, smart. Everyone loves her. She has all the boys behind her and all girls want to be her but she doesn't know it. She's my best friend and I loved her ever since I was four and she was three. But now I know she loves someone else so I'm heartbroken."
Courtney stared at Charlie. He just confessed his feelings for her and she was over the moon.
She jumped into his arms and said "I love you too Charlie."
Charlie smiled and said, "How do you know I'm talking about you?"
Courtney smirked, “Because I am your only best friend other than the boys."
"True," Charlie said with a smug look on his face.
"Now are you going to kiss me or not," Courtney whispered.
Charlie slowly leaned in to kiss her but at the last moment just when they were about to kiss Courtney turned her face so he kids d her cheek. Charlie made a pouty face.
"Sorry," Courtney said and kissed him.
