“If anyone has any objection for this marriage speak now or forever hold your peace,” the Priest said.
This was her last chance. Stacey stood up with shaky hands. All eyes were now on her.
There were horrified looks from everyone in the room but she was only looking at Reece, the groom.
She started to sing Taylor Swift’s Speak Now, “I am not the kind of girl, who should be rudely barging in on a white veiled occasion but you are not the kind of boy, who should be marrying the wrong girl.”
When Reece saw and heard Stacey he was stunned. It had been two years since they broke up. He had moved on and was about to get married but she could never forget about him.
His future wife, Georgia started to scream, “DON’T RUIN MY WEDDING YOU BRAT!”
Reece looked at Georgia and then at Stacey. He started to wonder if getting married to Georgia was a mistake. Reece still loved Stacey even though they broke up. He only got a new girlfriend because Stacey was the one who called it off and he thought that she didn’t love him anymore. He also loved Georgia, but, he loved Stacey more. Georgia was a stubborn, stuck up girl. But Stacey was different. She was a sweet, kind, lovable and caring person. The answer was right In front of his face.
He looked at Georgia and said “Sorry, but I can’t do this. I love Stacey.”
He ran from the altar, grabbed Stacey’s hand and ran out of the Church.
When they were very far from the Church said “I didn’t say a single vow, so glad you were around when they said speak now,” and kissed her.
