My Bad Boy-Jake One Shot for Lily <3

*Lily's POV*

Jake and I just completed our two year anniversary and I had already met his mom and sister so we decided that it was time for him to meet my folks. I asked my parents about it and they decided on a date and time. Now you should understand that my parents are really particular about my lifestyle choices. Until I turned 18 I was not allowed to date whoever I wanted. They used to literally set up dates with nerdy teenage boys who I had no interest in. Once I turned 18 I moved out and at 19 I met Jake. Since Jake has the whole bad boy look I was not sure how my parents would react when they met him. I warned Jake beforehand about my parents, so he tried his best to look good for them by wearing a shirt and a pair of skinny jeans. His usual quiffed hair was gelled back (like when they sang Mack the Knife).

I knocked the door once but no one answered. Since I had the key to the house I didn't bother knocking the door again.

"MOM! DAD!" I screamed, Jake slowly followed behind me.

Whilst I was shutting the door my mom and dad came out.

"Lily, It's so good to see you hun," my mom said as she hugged me.

"And....what is this?" my dad said referring to Jake and looking at him in disgust.

The shirt that Jake was wearing was long sleeved so it covered his tattoos but his lip and ear piercings could still be seen and I knew that my dad was not happy with them.

"My name is Jake Sims sir," Jake said, clearly offended by how my dad acknowledged him. Jake put out his hand to shake my dad's but my "loving" father did not do the same. He simply huffed and walked away.

"It's nice to meet you Jake," my mom said with a happy face, but her tone of voice said otherwise. She too walked away and when they were out of sight I said to Jake, "Relax, everything will be fine."

Later we al sat down for dinner and my parents asked Jake multiple question. When they found out that he was in a band which didn't even have a record deal yet they were very displeased. After a while Jake leaned forward to grab the salt when one of his sleeves pulled up and his tattoos could be seen.

When my dad saw the tattoos he became furious. He banged the table, got up and said, "THAT'S IT. LILY YOU CANNOT BE WITH THIS BOY. HE'S GOT PIERCINGS AND TATTOOS FOR CRYING OUT LOUD. AND HE'S FUTURE IS NOT SECURE. HOW DO YOU KNOW HE'LL TAKE CARE OF YOU IN THE FUTURE?"

"I'VE HAD IT WITH YOU," I screamed back as I got up from my seat. Jake and my mom got up too. Jake tried to calm me down but I wouldn't listen.

"THE WHOLE EVENING YOU'VE BEEN SAYING RUDE THINGS O JAKE AND INSULTING HIM AND HE HASN'T SAID ANYTHING. I LOVE THIS BOY AND JUST BECAUSE HE LOOKS LIKE A BAD BOY DOESN'T MEAN HE IS ONE AT HEART. HE IS ONE OF THE KINDEST PEOPLE I KNOW. HE CARES FOR EVERYONE AND HE LOVES ME. IF YOU CAN'T ACCEPT THAT, THAT'S YOUR PROBLEM." when I said this my mom was going to shout at me but I grabbed Jake and we left the house. When we were n the car I started taking deep breaths and I finally told him, "No matter what the world thinks, you're mt bad boy and I love you."

A/N: Sorry I haven't updated. I had a wedding and I was the Maid of Honour *yay*
