Speed Date- Reece One Shot for Melany ❤

Reece groaned as the girl went to the next table. She was worse than the one before her. What's happening? Reece is at one of the speed dates programs because the boys thought that it was finally time for him to stop moping about his recent break up and find a new girl. He had to meet 15 girls and spend 3 minutes with each of them and I'd he was interested in one of the girls and she was also interested in him they could swap contact numbers/addresses. Reece had met 14 girls till now and every single one of them was weird in one way or another. One girl told him that she could eat bugs and not puke. Well, after hearing that reece had to excuse himself because he thought that if he heard anymore he would most definitely puke.

There was just one girl remaining before the torture would be over.

As the girl sat in front of him he started to take in her features. She was prettier than all the other girls and she seemed cool.

"Hi, I'm Melany," she said.

"Reece," he said.

"So, tell me about yourself," she said.

"Well," Reece said, "I'm 16, in a boy band, we just came off a show and now we're going on tour in three months."

"Which show were you on?" she asked.

"X Factor," he replied.

She groaned and said, "Don't like that show a lot."

"Why?" this was the first time Reece met someone who said they didn't like the show.

"My ex was on it this year. Charlie, Charlie Jones. I  don't know what happened though." she said and Reece gasped.

"Um...Charlie is kinda in the band with me," he said and she went wide eyed.

"Oh!" she exclaimed, "Good for him."

"You two were close?" he asked.

"Dated for three years before he dumped me to go for the show," she said and Reece kinda felt sorry for her.

Just as he was about to ask his next question the timer went off signalling that  their date was over. They said their goodbyes and she walked away. Rece liked her, a lot. Now the big question on Reece's mind, should he  see her again even though she is Charlie's ex??
