"I am sorry, did I say something wrong?" Manami questioned, knowing what was about to come.

"Little, dame~," Laito's hand traveled up against Manami's leg, "you are good at distracting us. What a sly girl. You think we wouldn't notice?"

"What do you mean?" She acted dumb, which only brought a bigger smile to Laito's face.

"That earns for a punishment..." He whispered as his lips landed against the skin of her leg, making her shiver. "Yes, juuuust like that. That's the reaction I want."

"Oi, Laito, don't get cocky." Ayato spoke up, irritated at his brother for trying to get the first bite of his prey. "I'll be the one to taste her first."

"Too late!" Laito mocked, as his fangs pierced through Manami's skin.

She slightly winced at the pain, her eyebrows slightly furrowing, but still enough for Laito to notice, as his eyes went wide with excitement.

"So sweet with a hint of sour." He whispered, a smile spreading across his lips as he licked the wound. "I don't think I want to share, dear brother."

"Shut up!" Ayato exclaimed, as he forcefully grabbed Manami and buried his face into her neck.

She felt him aggressively shove his fangs down against her skin, as she gritted her teeth, trying not to make a sound. Laito's bite was much more delicate than Ayato's, since he tried to be gentle, as if caressing. On the other hand, Ayato's rage and irritation could be sensed by how roughly and deep he stuck his fangs into her neck. It wasn't painful - but agonizing.

The two vampires didn't take turns, as they both indulged themselves with the new taste of blood. To them, it was refreshing. A sense of sweetness with a hint of sourness that they couldn't understand. This made them even more thirsty by the second, as both tried to get as much as they could, so that the other doesn't get a drop more.

They knew, that the taste of the blood is not just dependent on diet or water, but the soul of the human themselves. Her blood tasted like innocence, but with a hint of sin, sadness and even rage. Those emotions are quite unique for a girl like her, Laito thought, what an interesting lass.

Ayato wasn't indifferent to this feeling. He noticed how her blood was more or less weird. He didn't like it, but yet, he couldn't stop himself. Damn, he thought, this girl really is like an old woman.

He snapped out of his thoughts, as he felt the girl's body lean against him. Taking a look at her, he noticed she was fast asleep.

"What a shameless woman." He grunted in dissatisfaction, as if somebody took away his ice cream. "Couldn't even handle this much."

"Look at those eye bags..." Laito sighed, placing his chin on top of his palm, resting against the bed frame. "I noticed them when she first arrived too. She might have insomnia..."

"Are you worried about her?" Ayato scoffed, looking down at the girl who was still laying against him.

"I like her," Laito smiled at his brother, "she is interesting and fun. Maybe that's why Shu took such a liking to her..."

"That deadbeat?" Ayato rolled his eyes, standing up. "Whatever."

He was about to wake her up, but rethought his decision, deciding it's better to try and be gentler. He slipped his arms under her, and picked her up bridal style.

Laito, deciding it would be mean to watch his brother struggle trying to be caring, walked over and removed the blanket. Ayato, slightly embarrassed, placed the girl's body into the bed, as Laito took a seat beside her and tucked her into the blanket.
