While writing this fan-fiction, I have realized that what I planned for to be a fast paced story, turned out to be the slowest burn ever. (-_-)
To be truly honest, I started publishing this fan-fiction when I already had 15 chapters fully written and a rough plan of where everything is heading. Now, that I look at it from this perspective, I have realized that what I planned for to be a 30 chapter fan-fiction... might turn out to be 50 chapters...
So, this leads to my question, should I try to condense the story and make it end at around 30 - 35 chapters, or should I stick to my original plan and just go with the flow? What do you guys think?
But for now, as not to make this Author's Note so boring and uneventful, here are some of my favorite female characters in anime that helped inspire Manami:
White Album 2 - Kazusa Touma
(I liked her commitment to music and also her stoic personality. I also really recommend this anime, I think it's a very well-written story with bittersweet moments that get you screaming at the screen.)
Kiznaiver - Noriko Sonozaki
(An aspect of her's that I get inspiration from was the calmness which she radiated 24/7. Her composure is what made me really like her in the end. I wanted to write a character who is similar in that manner to her.)
Code Geass - C.C.
(Not only does this anime have both my favorite male character of all time, aka Lelouch, but also my favorite female character of all time. I took her hair as an inspiration. Honestly, this is my favorite anime ever and I just wanted to share it with everyone lol.)
Classroom of the Elite - Suzune Horikita
(She is smart, but can also get lost in her emotions. That is something about her personality that I find really interesting, since she acts like she doesn't care about others around her, when she actually does. Her outlook on life is also something I could personally relate to.)
Kono Ote Tomare - Satowa Hozuki
(I like how she takes pride in her skill. I think having confidence in what you do is very important. On the other note, though, I think this is my favorite school-related anime of all time since I like the realistic development between the relationships of the characters. The feelings develop in good paces and they share important moments with each other that make them grow us people, both together and individually.)
Maybe this little list has given you some anime ideas to watch (*cough *cough Code Geass *cough *cough). I have always been picky about which anime I watch and it takes me literal days to find a good one. I mean, literally, I am one of those people that dislikes 'Kaichou Wa Maid-Sama!' which is kind of weird.
Anyways, thank you for reading and I hope I see you again!
