Shu didn't like to compromise.
And that was becoming more of struggle by the day. Just the thought of those filthy half-bloods laying their hands all over what's rightfully his, was making him angry and the fact that he still, couldn't find their place of residence, was slowly driving him insane.
How could he let her slip through his fingers?
If Laito didn't push him, would he still have sat on the same tree branch day-in and day-out?
Would she even want to see him?
Does she like that filth more than she likes him?
He buried his hands in his pockets, as he walked down the hallway towards his homeroom. This year, he should at least be able to graduate, as he didn't want to deal with his father's wrath once again. He didn't like snow and ice.
Before all this happened, he was planning to graduate and leisure around their manor, doing his usual routine. However, now that he had the human girl in his life, what will happen to these plans? What was going to happen to her when she graduates? It was this year that she would finish school, after all.
What are her plans?
Will she go off to university?
Is she going to leave them again?
Or will her father eventually come around and decide to take her back?
Shu stopped dead in his tracks.
I am thinking too far, he thought to himself, I can always just imprison her and keep her there for the rest of her short humanly life.
His eyes widened.
Her short humanly life... only about 80 years.
She was small and frail, probably due to malnourishment. She didn't eat much in front of him either. So, maybe 70 years.
That would give him around 50 years, and even then, she would eventually get old and weak.
What was he to do about that if his feelings for the girl were more complicated than he thought?
He still wasn't exactly sure about what this attachment to the girl was, but if it was something more than just "like," then he couldn't compromise with just those 50 years.
He would need much more.
"Move."
"Hm?"
"Are you listening to me, goddammit!"
Shu felt something hard make impact with the wall beside his left ear.
He opened his eyes, looking up.
His eyebrows furrowed.
"You finally looked at me, NEET." The tall Mukami said, smirking with his gritted teeth. "You are in my fucking way so why don't you move?"
In any other matter, Shu would have stood his ground and kept on sitting, but in this moment, it was either walking away or ripping his throat out.
"Pain in the ass..." He mumbled, getting up and beginning to walk away.
"Where did all that Sakamaki pride go?" Yuma said, but Shu ignored him.
Yuma scoffed.
"Seriously? No reply? Did your brain rot from lack of exercise?"
Still ignored.
Shu really didn't care for his provocation.
"Aha, I see. We took your one."
