Manami made her way to the living room along with Ayato and Reiji, both of whom had tensed looks on their faces which they were trying to conceal.

It brought Manami lots of curiosity as to what person would want to visit her, now that her family had abandoned her. Her eyes widened as she stopped dead in her tracks.

"You never told me who it is that I am waiting for." She said, as Reiji and Ayato turned to look at her. "Is it perhaps... your father?"

"Sadako, how come you have gained sense of humor but not fat on your chest?" Ayato asked, one of his eyebrows raised. "Why would that guy want to see you?"

"I don't know." She said, trying to play it off nonchalantly, but she didn't know that Reiji noticed her usual calm facade fade for a moment.

Even Ayato could sense a bit of nervousness in her voice, but he didn't think much of it, as the three of them were already in the living room.

They turned to corner, only to be met with all the brothers except the blonde, standing around the couch. Manami couldn't see who it was until she moved closer, but when she did, she came to a halt.

"What are you doing here?" She asked, looking at the familiar man, who had lifted up his head to look at her.

"Manami!"

"Brother..." She replied, her eyes sharp knives.

The tension in the room grew, as the vampires knew exactly who the man in front of them now was, and they didn't seem too happy about his presence. All had definitely noticed the change in Manami's temperament, as her usual calm and emotionless state, had changed to the one of anger and disgust.

"How was your... honeymoon?" She asked, folding her arms and taking a seat on the couch the furthest away from her brother.

Laito took a seat besides Manami, leaning his elbow against its arm and resting his chin on top of his palm. Ren noticed the Sakamaki's intense glare, as if saying: 'you are not welcome here.'

Subaru on the other hand, stood at the exit of the doorway, looking disinterested by the whole interaction, even though he was listening to everything that was going on.

Reiji sat besides Ren, drinking a cup of tea that he had prepared for himself before the arrival of the unneeded guest.

"Honeymoon?" Kanato laughed, bending over and sniffing Ren. "Your wife wears sweet vanilla perfume. How sweet! Just smelling it makes me want to eat her up whole!"

"You!" Ren exclaimed, as his eyes widened in shocked at the proximity of the purple haired boy.

"Kanato." Ayato said, pushing his brother away from the guest. "Stop it."

"Awww, but Ayato, I-"

"Why are you here?" Manami asked, looking at her brother with a dissatisfied look. "Do you think I'd want to see you? I thought I made it clear that I didn't want to have anything to do with you or your newly formed family."

"Manami..." He said, fidgeting his fingers. "I know that me getting a new woman in my life might seem frightening to you, but that doesn't mean that I won't spend time with you either. When I heard from father that he sent you away to live at some random house, I was so enraged, the first thing I did was come here. That's because I-"

A small chuckled escaped Manami. The Sakamaki brothers looked at her with a surprised expression, as her chuckle had grew into a full-out laugh. It took her a couple of moments to recollect herself, but when she did, she looked at her brother with a patronizing smile. Her fingers were brushing against her cheek and her leg was on top of the other.
