"What is that?" Subaru looked at the unfamiliar to him board with a disgusted look.
"It's called a board game." Manami sighed, looking at Subaru with an exhausted expression. "You have to buy property, and when other people lend on your square, they have to pay you money. You have to continue until everyone goes bankrupt except you. Have you never played?"
"I don't wish to." He looked at her with a frustrated expression, but Manami grabbed the sleeve of his jacket. "Hey, what are you-"
"Stop sounding like the stereotyped version of emo," she pulled him down to sit beside her, "I think you guys should start to do more human-like things. It's boring here."
"Easy for you to say, Sadako." She turned around, only to bet met with the one and only idiot of the house himself. "But I will make you aware, that 'Yours Truly' has an unmistakable talent when it comes to games."
"Then?" Manami asked, as a sly sadistic smile appeared on Ayato's face.
He grabbed Manami and pulled her up to face him, whispering into her ear: "Every part of you belongs to me now, your blood, your beating heart, your body and soul, say that you're mine completely. Give your blood to me alone, and devote your life to me."
Manami eyes travelled to look at his, as the only thing that could escape her mouth in the moment was - "Are you a moron?"
Ayato stared at her in confusion, wondering why she didn't have any kind of expression from what he had just said. It usually worked magics, making brides quiver in fear or fall on their knees, but this girl was looking at him as if he was the stupidest thing she had ever seen.
"You sound like Shakespeare." Manami slapped his hand away, and pushing him down to sit. "Now, sit here obediently and wait for me to bring some more people. Oh, there is another one..."
She watched as the blonde man had entered into the room, his usual earbud plugged into his ear. He looked up to find everyone staring at him, making him furrow his eyebrows in confusion.
"Did I interrupt?" He simply asked, as Manami walked over and grabbed his arm violently.
"Sit." She commanded, as the vampire looked at her with an astonished expression.
"Why do you think you have the right to command me?" He asked, looking up at the girl with his usual emotionless expression.
"You won't regret it." She said, and looked around for any other person in her sight. "Wait a moment."
She walked over to the doorway with her usual straight posture and opened it, speaking out in a calm, elegant and coherent voice: "Reiji, are you busy?"
Silenced followed as Subaru and Ayato gave each other a confused look. Shu was looking bored by the whole situation. That is until they all spotted the second eldest Sakamaki appear on the other side of the room, grabbing Shu's attention.
"What is the reason for you disturbing me at such an hour?" He said in irritation, but it was evident to his brother that he cared enough to show up.
Shu glared at his younger brother, who perfectly well noticed.
Manami felt the tension in the room, as she gestured for the man in glasses to take a seat beside Ayato. "We are playing a board game."
"Such nonsense... I have no time for such trivial matters." He said, starting to walk away.
"Manami, come here." He heard Shu's voice call out and her walk over to the brother. "Good girl."
He turned around only to see her wide eyed, sitting in his brother's lap, as both Ayato and Subaru looked away in irritation. This got the second oldest Sakamaki's blood to boil, as he noticed his brother give him a smirk.
