"This is getting tiring..." Manami sighed, the side of her face buried into her arms which rested on top of the table.
She scrolled through her phone, which she forgot even existed for the past couple of weeks, due to the liveliness of the brothers.
The various photos of her old classmates together made her eye slightly twitch.
"I guess my leave didn't really affect..." She said out loud to herself. "What did I expect?"
A sudden ring awoke her from the trance of her fake self-pity, as the screen lit up in the darkness of her room.
'Sua'
Manami's eyebrows raised, as she watched the ringtone continue to play it's playful tune, before realizing she has to eventually pick it up.
And that's what she did, with a sigh, as she pressed the green button and put the phone on speaker.
"Hello?"
"Maaaaanaamiiii!" A long screech came from the other side. "Waaah, you finally answered my calls!"
"Hello to you too..." Manami placed a hand over her forehead, as she furrowed her eyebrows in annoyance.
"Seriously, where have you been?" She replied, with a pout that Manami could clearly imagine. "I went to your house and you weren't even there! I was seriously worried..."
"Right, sorry." Manami replied, hiding her face in her hands.
"Now, somebody sounds tired~!" Sua teased her with a mocking tone. "How about a girl's night out?"
"And what exactly does that include?"
"Pretty men and some free drinks~! All on me..."
"Yeah, no, I think I will pass this time." Manami shot back with a grimace. "That's not exactly something I'm looking for."
"Okay, okay, then how about some karaoke? Just you, me, and a microphone! I want to hear all the juicy details about your new roommates..." Sua hummed with a chuckle.
"I would go but I'm afraid I can't." Manami said, folding her arms and leaning into her chair.
"Pourquoi?" Sua responded, with slight disappointment.
"Let's just say I am on a weekly house arrest."
"But I will be out of town next week..." Sua said, her voice getting quieter.
"Are you trying to say you miss me?" Manami asked, a smirk playing on her lips.
"Not really, but you know how much fun I find you~!" Sua responded cheerily. "Plus, I don't have any girl friends apart from you..."
"For a good reason."
"Don't be like that!" The girl exclaimed. "I will send you the address, see you there in an hour!"
"Wait, I said-"
And with that, the phone went dark again, the calling screen disappearing, only to reveal the phone's main page.
"She..." Manami mumbled, "is so unbelievably annoying..."
Manami hit her head against the table and sighed, taking a moment to recollect herself.
She stood up and walked over to the closet, which had all her clothes hanging on the hangers, while shirts and blouses were cleanly stacked on top of the upper shelves.
Digging through her closet, she eyed out an outfit and began to take off her clothes, folding them on the bed. She donned the tight-fitting black skirt and tucked in the white blouse, leaving the upper buttons open.
