~Connor's POV~:
I saw Derek walking quickly towards me. Oh crap. What does he want from me? "Connor!" Oh no. "Connor. What did you see earlier in the hallway when you were trying to hide in that classroom?" "Ummmm nothing." "You liar!" He was yelling now and he had grabbed my brown jacket.
"Fine I saw you talking to Alyssa but that's it. That's all you did." "You can't tell Beth that I talked to Alyssa." "Why? She won't mind. Unless you're hiding something." He tensed up and grabbed me hard on the shoulder. "What do you know?" "Nothing but you're acting strange about a simple conversation with someone Beth knows."
"Beth knows her?" "Yeah. She tried to set Alyssa and I up but we both weren't interested in each other like that." "This is all going to fall apart." He talked quietly and loosened the grip on my shoulder. "Derek how is it falling apart?" "It's nothing." "I won't say anything to Beth." "Connor please don't say anything. I don't want her worrying." "About what Derek? You aren't being very clear." "I can't tell you. I have to go." His anger came back and he pushed me against my car then left. When he had walked away I swore I saw Bethany running off.
