KINABUKASAN
Pumunta na kami sa farm. Wow, there's truly a lot of strawberries here.
"So far naman po Ma'am Diana walang problema sa mga pananim. Gaya rin po ng sabi nyo, hindi kami gumamit ng kung ano anong chemical para sa mga peste. Organic po lahat. Fresh na fresh." Sabi nung supervisor ng farm.
"Ilang baskets ba ang napuno for this season?."
"Mahigit 896 baskets po."
"Great. 4 times higher. Will you please write that down Frances."
Sumunod naman ako. I love how committed she is to this business. I bet mahal nya talaga ang trabahong to.
Pumunta pa kami sa factory kung saan pinoprocess ang strawberries para gawing wine. Ang galing, mano mano nila itong ginagawa.
"Bakit po hindi kayo gumagamit ng mga makina to process everything?." Tanong ko kay Ma'am Diana.
"Gusto kasi ni Daddy na mano mano yung pag gawa. It makes the wine really special for the buyers. Mas maganda kasi yung pinaghihirapan."
"Diba po mas madali yun?. Wala pang empleyadong mapapagod."
"Kung walang mapapagod, gutom lahat ng pamilya sa mundo. In this country, pataas na ng pataas ang unemployment rate. Corrupt ang karamihang nasa gobyerno."
"Life is truly unfair."
"And do you know why they don't try hard to develop the educational system? It's because it would be hard for them to deal and take advantage on educated voters. Hindi makapag-aral karamihan sa mga Pilipino dahil sa kahirapan. At kaya mahirap ang mga Pilipino dahil hindi sila nabibigyan ng privilege na makapag-aral at makakuha ng trabaho. It's a cycle. Sobrang hirap na karamihan satin napipilitan nalang gumawa ng masama. So, I think this is a way to help those people na mapakain ang mga pamilya nila kahit wala silang pinag-aralan." I wasn't wrong when I thought that she's something else. She knows what she's doing and she loves it.
Diana is truly an interesting soul.

Inutusan nya akong tanungin ang incharge naman sa factory. I took down notes from the factory supervisor, Miss Joanna Keller. Diana also asked me to try performing the process of wine making. It's takes a lot of patience but I'm enjoying this. May feast pa for lunch.
She's smiling and laughing the whole time with the farmers and others staffs, I can't help but admire it. Sa office lang ata siya kilalang monster. Because in this place, it felt like she's the Queen. The best Queen of hearts I've met so far.
Pagkatapos nun nagpaalam na kami sa lahat. I can see it. She's becoming really nice. Pagkatapos ay bumalik na kami sa rest house.
We sat on the terrace para tingnan ang napakagandang paglubog ng araw. But I think she's even more beautiful than the sunset.
"Do you wanna trade secrets?." Tanong niya.
"Maybe?."
"Tsk. Such a coward. Ako na mauna. Hmm. You know, I used to be jealous of Dion when we were younger. Especially when we were teenagers."
"Huh? Bakit naman?."
"Siguro because he's all our mom has ever wanted. Sobrang bait ni Dion, napakatalino ni Dion, he's basically good at everything. Bakit daw ako puro nalang sakit sa ulo binibigay ko kina mommy."
"Did you hate him?."
"I used to. And I feel bad every single day of my life because of that. You, what's your secret?."
"Promise ka muna na di ka tatawa."
"I promise."
"My secret is I want it so bad to get married this year."
"Why? Are you gonna die soon?."
"Something like that."
"You're scaring me."
"They say it's a curse."
"Then what's the problem?. Just marry your boyfriend."
"I don't have one."
"Hmm. Then I'll help you find one."

The next day, maaga kaming umuwi. Back to normal ulit. With a lot of paperworks left to finish. I brought her coffee and she smiled which is ipinagtaka ni Mae na kausap ngayon ni Ma'am Diana.
I wonder where Dion is right now. I kinda miss him.
Nag cr muna ako para umihi nang marinig ko ang pag-uusapan ng ibang mga empleyado. 2 girls talking.
"I'm glad that Modern Beast is back to being Miss Diana Mackey."
"Nagkabalikan na siguro sila ni Sir Q." Yan siguro yung ex ni Ma'am Diana.
"I highly doubt it. I heard he's getting married."
"Agad agad?. Eh parang ilang buwan pa nga ata silang hiwalay."
"2 months pa silang hiwalay sis. Kaya naman pala ganun ang epekto sa kanya. Kawawa naman pala si Ma'am Diana."
FLASHBACK
"He left me."
"Bakit naman po?."
"I'm not like this you know. Bossy, stuborn, suplada, mataray. I'm not the monster all of you think I am. Hindi nya yun natiis. Lumala pa nung umalis siya."
