Chapter 13- Hospital

I finally fed myself waking up. I slightly stired as my arm felt numb. I open my eyes relishing I'm at the hospital. I slowly sat up with my good arm and lean back on the bed.

"Ugh... hospital.... bed.... guess I passed out after the Paramedics got me." I said to myself as I saw my arm was in a cast.

"Oh good, Mr. Bloodmoon you're finally wake!" The nurse said as she came in seeing me awake.

"Yes, I'm glad too. So how long was I out? Miss?" I asked.

"Well I just came in to cheek on you I'll call the doctor in. Now for your question, you been a sleeping for a day and a half. It's night time by the way." He said as he press the button by the bed frame.

I nodded and said "if it isn't an inconvenience do you think you can get me some food? I'm a bit hungry."

"Of course I'll get it as soon as the doctor comes here. Of course the doctor will call your parents in the morning. They have been so worried about you."

I nodded. A few minutes after the doctor came and examined me. Making sure I was okay and other doctor stuff.

"Ok, so Mr. Bloodmoon I understand you just wake up and I'll fill you in on what we did and what will need you to do later. For now rest and you will be perfectly fine." The doctor said.

The rest of the night was peaceful as I ate and went to bed. Next morning, I woke up the nurse gave me some medicine and I took it. I watch some tv and the doctor came by.

"Ok Mr. Bloodmoon let me fill you in now. Firstly your humus is fractured by the bullet, lucky we were able to remove the bullet without any complications. You'll need to where that cast for a while and eventually a brace. Second you will have prescription medicine that you need to take every 8 hours to relieve pain. And finally once your arm is heal up you need to go to rehabilitation to get your arm back to the way it is. Considering your young you should make a full recovery." The doctor said.

"Alright so how long will I be in the hospital?" I asked.

"A week or so just to make sure nothing happens. Then during your healing process you need to come by a month or two to check on your arm." He said.

"Thank you sir." I said.

"No problem it's my job after all. Now if you'll excuse me I'll go now. Your parents are inform of the situation and will be coming but as they said. Also you may call a medic here with that button by the bedframe." He said and left.

Fast forward a bit, I was in bad when my mother and father came in along with, Jax Knightmare and her father.

"Mother,father, Jax, Hello. And greetings to you Mr, Nightsky, Knightmare." I said.

"Geez is he okay, he seems so formal." Mr. Nightsky said.

"Dad he's like that! He's just a very polite person." Knightmare said.

"Oh darling I'm so Glad your okay." My mother said and hugged me.

"Son, I'm-proud of you and happy your alive but why do you have to be so reckless." My father said happily.

"I'm sorry. I know I worried you guys. If I hadn't done anything, I bet something else would happen." I said apologetically.

"Kito, give him some slack for now. Now honey I'm glad yours doing fine." Mother said.

"Got to be honest thought I'm impressed of what the other kids told me." Mr. Nightsky said "a ruler, pencil and rope, pretty resourceful kid."

I nodded and said "Knightmare shouldn't you be at school?"

"No school canceled for this week. They said it be better to stay home for now and we be back at Monday. I heard my dad say he's visiting you so I made him drag me along." Knightmare said laughing.

"Thanks that's sweet of you." I said as she blushed.

"So seriously why did you attack the shooter like that Knighblade you could've been killed." My father said worried yet stern.

"Negative. I took the opportunity of the attackers weakest moments and use it to my advantage. So I anticipated I'd get shot but made sure avoid all videls. What I did underestimated is my body's rate in bleeding. As for why it's either I get a little pain and save the class or die by a ruthless criminal. I chose not be be afraid and took a chance." I explained.

"So you expect to catch the shooter and get shot knowing there no way to avoid that it to say more people. So you knew the risk and still risked it all to save people, wow Knightblade you are one truly selfless person aren't you?" Mr. Nightsky said.

"Thanks but I don't need the compliments I did what I need to survive." I said.

"Wow. Also form what I heard son, when did you learn to fight?"  My father said.

"Self taught dad. I  have spare time that o take to educate myself with self defense." I said.

My dad was slient as a big smile grew on his face as I stare at him confused.

"Yesssss!!  Finallly you call me dad with out me pestering you about it!!!" he said pumping his fist up and down like a kid as we all laughed.

"Any how sweetie I'm so glad your okay." My mom said.

"Knightblade on the be half of the other students and parents of those students I thank you. Your bill been paid consider it as a gift. I hope you make a full recovery!" Mr. Nightsky said.

"Oh I almost forgot! Here!" Knightmare said as she gave me a cup of pudding, "I remember you said you like this! So I made you some."

"Thanks Knightmare your the best I'm going to enjoy this instead of the crappy food they Have here." I said happily.

"So when are you two getting married." Our fathers said as me and Knightmare blushed.

"Dad!" "Father" we said.

"Dad we're friends! And only friends!" Knightmare said.

"Aww but you two would look so cute together and I know he can protect my precious little girl." Mr. Nightsky said.

"Dad..." Knightmare blushed.

"Dad! Dad! I want to be just as cool as big brw and be strong like him!!!! And and I want you to feel better soon best brw fwo ever!!!" Jax said looking at me and dad.

"Well I sure your going to be just as handsome and kind of a boy! " my father said.
