The meeting room had only three people, and the action in question was starting to become a little intense.
"Mr.Braun." Levi said slowly, enunciating each word. "I can't say anything about my shareholders, so if you will..."
"Oh, don't be like that, Mr.Ackerman!" The big-ass man put his hand up. He was a prick, to say the least. Not an ounce of sense in him.
"My family has had a huge reserve for years!" He drawled. "And we have been your clients for generations!"
"Surprising." Levi narrowed his eyes, the grey in them like ice. "I don't remember acquainting myself with näive businessmen like you, or if you can even call yourself that. Here," He held up a document. "This is how much you've lost in the past five years, and even in this little profit you haven't achieved anything. People like you park large amounts in overnight and liquid funds for a short duration of time, but I advice you to gain a few useful skills before you do something this risky. We don't want to accept any equity investment from your side either."
"I'm just saying that you have to give me more time! Your staff can't just send me to you only because I'm indiscriminately cutting corners!" He grinned, showing two rotten teeth. I winced involuntarily, but Levi was still holding an expression devoid of emotion. "I was only speaking politely until now on the slim chance that you might be a future client, but with all offense, kindly pack your bags and get your figurative posterior out of here." Levi's voice had turned deeper, and seeing him glowering like this was such a turn on.
The meeting room was getting stuffy, so I loosened my tie a little bit.
"Young chap- I mean, you, sir!" Braun gestured to me. "You agree with me, right? Well, of course you'll say you don't because your boss's standing right there!" He threw back his head and roared with laughter. Levi frowned just the slightest bit.
"Mr.Braun, don't bring him-"
"I do not care for that." I said coldly. This guy was really getting on my nerves now. "Don't tell me how to do my job. If you've got so much capital, I recommend you started using it instead of coming here."
My eyes flicked to Levi for a split second and my heart warmed immediately upon seeing the approval in his eyes.
"Exactly as he said." Levi continued. "With no regrets whatsoever, I have to say that we cannot help you. Your company is deteriorating because of your consistent mismanagement, and I think you're all over the place."
"Also, we cannot guarantee your success with these loans." I slid over a pile of documents over to the seething man. "Frankly, it's horrendous."
"Exactly. We can't work with you. And the official who visited your company headquarters was...quite disappointed. Eren, the files?" On his cue, I lifted a folder and passed it to him.
"'Workers unhappy...drowning in debt...unhealthy working conditions..." Levi read from the report. "Quite pitiful."
"Here it says that his products were bland in quality, and he was very unfavourable to work with." I said to him.
Braun, meanwhile, looked from me to Levi, frowning deeper with each second.
"You two are lovers?"
"What the-" I almost said fuck, but stopped myself at the last second. Levi watched him with cold contempt.
"I thought the air was unusually thick ever since I got here," Braun continued. "But you're telling me that I was about to take money from people like you? Ugh." He sneered. "I feel afraid of just sitting on this chair. Who knows what has happened in this room, huh?" His smile was cruel, without any warmth- more like a grimace.
"Does your precious bank know about you doing your disgusting acts? Young man," He turned to me. "He seems pretty old for you. Sugar daddy, is he?"
Levi slammed his hands on the table at the same time I stood up, my chair clattering back and falling to the floor. "Get. Out." I growled through my teeth. "You're wrong."
"I'm a psychology major, you can't fool me." He sneered.
"Well, you must be pretty bad at it then, or you must have grown soft after spending all your money." Levi said in a bored voice, though his hands were still pressing hard against the table, his eyes flashing, and not in the way they did in bed.
"I'll leave. For now." He smirked and disappeared out of the door.
I exhaled, willing my heartbeat to calm down. In my periphery I saw Levi coming towards me. I turned to him as he stopped before me and our eyes met. We didn't say anything, just the silent communication was enough.
"Levi?" Petra softly knocked on the door and poked her head in. "'Sup?"
"Come in." He stepped away from me to face her as she closed the door.
"Um..." Her amber eyes flitted from me to him. "That guy over there...told me something not-so-surprising." She slowly smiled in amusement. "So, Eren, I was right."
"I guess." I shrugged, stupidly blushing. Levi raised an eyebrow in confusion.
"She knows, Levi." I said.
"Ah, fu-" He looked at her. "Um..."
"Ck." She grinned.
"So what are you in here for?" He hurriedly closed the files spread out on the table, the pink on his face obvious.
"Oh yeah, our engagement party will be held tonight, since it's a Sunday tomorrow."
"About time."
"Well, sorry, we were kind of busy, y'know." She walked backwards. "See you at Mitras at 9?" That was the name of a really expensive party hall. I was impressed, but not surprised, since the pay was very good here.
"See you. And again, congratulations." I called.
She smiled warmly in thanks before vanishing out of the room.

"Hah...hah...." I sucked on the skin on Levi's neck as he shifted under me. "Eren, stop it..."
"Sorry, I thought you liked it." I bit his earlobe and tugged before letting go.
"The edge of the table is killing my back. Let me sit up first." He grunted and adjusted himself on the desk. "Ok, now do it. But if you wrinkle my clothes I'll chop your head off."
"Mm." My lips collided against his and he opened his mouth to let me in, groaning softly as my tongue hit every inch of his mouth. His saliva was warmer and wetter than ever, his breathing heavier than usual. I could feel his member throbbing underneath mine as I ground myself on him, both of us panting and gasping from the friction.
Levi growled and slammed his hand on my head, bringing my tongue deeper down his throat. His nails scraped against my scalp painfully, but I didn't care. Instead, I enjoyed the feeling. Immensely. His other hand was up my shirt, skimming across my bare skin.
We finally broke apart after what felt like a heavenly eternity. My lungs burned from lack of air. But all I wanted was the feel of his lips on mine again, his taste that was such a high for me, and-
"Jaeger." He huffed, pushing his hand through his hair. His chest heaved.
"You....need to get back...to work." He finished with a deep exhale and stared up at me blandly, his cheeks flushed red in contrast to his expression.
"In a second." I knelt down to capture his lips with mine again, but he pushed a hand against my chest.
"Do I see anger in those eyes?" His voice was low and like velvet.
"Do you now?" I whispered, aware of my growing irritation. "Why could that be, I wonder?"
"Ugh, seriously..." He ran his hand through his hair again. "You're that worked up over that shitface?"
"It's because he insulted you." My voice was nothing less than a growl. "And now he might tell the higher officials."
"Don't be so tense, I'll see to it that he doesn't." He pulled me down into a sudden embrace, my chin resting on his shoulder. His hair tickled my face.
