calum walked through the humid wind of the high school campus, making his way to the library to meet luke for the 5th time since he started being tutored by him.

sure, he was excited to see luke for another tutoring session as calum 'accidentally' drops his pencil as they both reach down, their hands meeting as calum feels electricity run through his veins complementing the blood rushing quickly to his cheeks, but he was stressed.

finals closely came by the minute, and calum had no free time whatsoever. first, he had school, then he went to the library to be tutored by luke(which calum didn't mind at all), then as his session finished at 5, he had work from 5-9, come home and do homework and procrastinate which took about until 2 in the morning.

he was glad he was off work today, and it was a friday, so he could just drive home after seeing luke and sit outside on his hammock on the balcony, wait for luke and listen to music with him then fall asleep to the sound of luke's voice corresponding with the music.

calum opened the doors and found luke waiting at their usual spot, two smoothies casted right in front of him on the desk.

"ya know, we're not allowed to have drinks in the library. ms. dunnock gets cranky really easily." he chuckled at the blonde, making him look up from his phone. he smiled and put down his phone, shoving the drink in front of calum as he say down.

"it's alright. i'm on ms. dunnock's good side. she loves me. i always helped her put books away precisely where they were supposed to go, since i needed the extra credit. ever since then i became her, i guess, 'librarian's pet', and she never got mad at me. ever."

calum was impressed as his sucked in the smoothie into his mouth, the cold sensation causing chills to run through his body. luke noticed the purple [gucci] bags under the younger boy's eyes as he took out his books.

"cally, you alright? you look really tired and pooped." luke whispered. calum felt his heart flutter at the sudden nickname luke gave to him, making his soul jolt awake.

"y-yeah. i'm fine, just tired from studying, that's all." he stuttered, luke smirking at how he made the boy flustered.

fuck, don't you dare bite that damn lip, calum thought.

"what?" luke laughed out. calum's eyes widened, realising he had said that out loud, audible for luke to hear.

"i-i uh, don't want you to bite your lip b-because... i don't want you... making your lip bleed!?" he tried to persuade, making luke chuckle at him once again.

boy, was calum reeled in. everytime he thought of luke he felt his insides flip, making him weak in the knees anywhere he was. he was mesmerized by the older boy.

"well, you've been looking pretty rough these past few days i've seen you. have you been sleeping well? i'll help you with all your homework so you cam actually sleep."

"no, it's fine-"

"i'm serious calum, you need sleep. i can help you with all your homework, i've had all the teachers you had. i know their ways and wraths." he said to calum.

"well, i guess you could help. since it's friday, d-do you uh... wanna come over this weekend? i mean if you don't want to you don't have to if you have plans or anything i mean uh you don't have to waste your time on me-"

"calum, you're crazy. of course i'd come over! i'd rather waste my time on you, you're worth it." [BLINK REFERENCE GOD BLESS]

calum felt his face burn once again as he looked down to his hands on his lap. "well, i have this essay, and it's any narrative we want... and i don't know what to do. it's due next fucking week and i don't know what to write about!" he whined, putting his face in his hands in frustration.

"hmm... what about when i come over this weekend, we'll talk about it, okay? don't sweat it, buddy. we can do this together. now, let's get started on maths, i hope you're smarter than michael." he chuckled, making calum melt instantly into his appearance.
