luke laid on adie's couch, a blanket ghosted over him as silent tears streamed down his cheeks. he left over 20 messages to calum but he never responded.

adie groaned at her cousin and stood up, walking over to him. "crying on my couch won't help you get over him."

"i don't want to get over him!" luke cried out, burying his face into the pillow.

adie shook her head and rubbed his back as he sobbed once again, for the 5th time today.

"okay, so you told him you wanted to be with him forever or some shit and he like- freaked out- and ran away because he thinks he'll mess everything up?" she asked for clarification, making luke cringe at the memory. he nodded, resting his head in adie's lap.

luke honestly didn't know what to do. all the calls and texts calum ignored just made him feel worse that he wasn't there taking care of calum.

but what if calum never came back? what if calum would never loved him ever?

"luke, i'm just going to say this, but you need to fucking do something. show him that you really do love him and want to be with him for a long ass time. make him realise that you are the one, and if he doesn't believe you, then keep trying until he does. don't just give up on him, luke. you need to get your ass up and steal his fucking heart!"

luke thought for a while, actually thinking that his cousin's idea could actually work. why didn't he think of that?

"you know what, adie. i-i think you're right."

"aren't i always?"

"but this might take some planning. could you help me?"

"how long could it take?"

"a couple weeks."

"only if you stop sleeping on my couch."

"deal."
