calum struggled to find what to wear the next day, throwing mixtures of clothes around the room. he wanted to make a good impression on luke, but he was making it worse by throwing clothes around his room to make it even more messy.

it was 11:30am and luke was coming in half an hour, making calum's anxiety rise by the minute. but it's not like it's the first time he's acted like this.

whenever calum had a tutoring session with luke, he takes time to rush to the bathroom and fix his hair and shirt, trying to look perfect for the beautiful blonde boy, making luke arrive first to their spot everytime.

he finally found a decent pair of black basketball shorts and a dark blue sweatshirt, brushing his teeth 2 times and fixing his hair after throwing the articles of clothing on.

he flopped onto the couch and realised his living room was a complete mess. the kiwi boy shot up and right when the doorbell rings.

his eyes widen as he shakily walks to the door. his hand trembles as it reaches the metal doorknob, terrified of luke's judgement.

he opens it to see luke with flat hair instead of a quiff [fuck] and black rolling stones shirt that clung tightly to his upper half that complemented his black midnight blue shorts.

and god, did calum's legs turn into jelly.

"h-hey calum. ready for homework? i brought ice cream, even though it's hella cold as fuck."

calum let out a shy laugh and let him inside the flat. he closed the door behind him and calum walked off into the living room, luke following close behind.

luke loved the sight of calum all cuddly and warm, and his bed hair that was supposed to be a perfect hairstyle was so hot to luke, that he resisted the urge to push him on to the couch and kiss the life out of the younger boy.

they both sat on the plush maroon couch, luke setting down his things onto the coffee table in front of him.

luke smirked at the bowl of laffy taffies and the big box of dots candies on the table. "you like candy huh?" he spoke out, making calum blush.

"yes! i love these candies!" calum smiled, his eyes lighting up. luke laughed at the boy and ruffled his hair.

"i guess you're like, obsessed with those?"

calum gasped and put a hand to his heart to his chest in fake hurt. "it's not obsessed, lucas. i'd prefer dedicated."

calum snatched a piece of laffy taffy and popped it into his mouth, moaning at the extravagant taste. "okay, nevermind. i'd say obsessed." he mumbled, chewing on the fruity candy. luke shook his head in laughter.

"okay, so let's do some homework!"

"wow, we finished that faster than i usually do."

"well yeah, because everytime you answered a question you'd get a candy, duh."

calum pouted and glanced at the time, 1:18pm. he looked out the window and saw rain pounding hard on the window, making calum gulp.

"wow, it looks really rough out there. d-do you um want to maybe... stay for a while?" or forever, calum thought.

"yeah, if that's fine with you."

"luke, i just offered it to you. of course it's okay with me, idiot." he playfully retorted.

luke laughed and finished his ice cream and placed his empty cup next to calum's on the table.

"wanna watch a movie?" luke nodded to calum's generous offer. he handed luke the remote and let him look through netflix on the screen while he made popcorn.

luke chose 'legally blonde', making calum laugh at his choice.

"what? it's a good movie!" luke pouted, crossing his arms. calum sat down next to him, trying to ignore his lip sticking out, mimicking him to bite on it.

"whatever. let's watch the movie lukey." luke's heart fluttered at the use of name. he coughed and pulled calum close, the bowl of popcorn on each of their laps.

calum felt his breathing grow rapidly as luke let him lay on his shoulder. luke cuddled the boy close, embracing his small body into his.
