calum ran to the library one day after school, his head full of ideas. a smile plastered on his face as he headed straight to the tall building.

he ran through the doors, accidentally bumping into a few students, apologizing quickly as he ran to the table luke and him always sit at.

luke was his phone, as always, and as usual, smoothies were present.

"lucas!" calum whisper-shouted to luke, trying not to be loud. luke looked up and placed his phone down, diverting his attention to calum.

"woah, slow down. eager are we for english homework?"

calum rolled his eyes and sat down, taking out his usual white notebook for english class.

"i have ideas." as those words rolled out of calum's mouth, luke's eyes lit up as he sat closer, his bum on the edge of the chair.

"well what do you have?" luke responded.

calum opened his notebook and flipped to the page where it said, 'calum and luke's ideas:

-to be discovered.'

under the writing was a few words.

-cats.
-love.
-life.
-balance.
-stability.
-time.

luke smiled at his ideas. "wow calum, these are great. have you chosen which one to write about?"

calum shook his head and sighed in response.

"well i guess we'll have to do this together." luke smiled.

calum felt his stomach flutter as luke smiled at him. it was a feeling something calum couldn't describe, honestly.

luke stood up to use the bathroom as calum did his vocab work. sneakily, calum took out his white notebook back out and opened back the page they were previously on.

calum wrote something down.
