"so, how did you do on midterms last week?" luke asked, breaking the silence between them as they both did their own homework.

calum looked up and sighed. "well, the math test was pretty hard, and the history test was too. though, the science test was hella easy, and so was the on-demand summary task. i think the only thing i got an A+ on was the mile and push up test in PE." he shrugged.

luke cracked a smile and continued his work. "it's good to know you're learning, cal."

calum smiled back and continued his work as well, his mind still set on luke. he couldn't really focus, all he thought about was mostly luke more than his studies.

several minutes passed and luke looks up from his text book to see calum asleep while in the middle of writing something.

luke chuckled and stood up quietly to walk over to calum. he strolled to his side and picked him up gently, careful not to wake him up.

though, calum wasn't really asleep. he was tired and was on the verge of napping until he felt luke's touch and instantly became energized.

luke carried the tiny boy to his bedroom, setting him under the blankets and joining him afterwards. he saw how peaceful calum looked asleep, he was absolutely beautiful to him.

calum was snuggled into his chest, his cold skin gaining warmth from luke. he inhaled and smelled luke's strong scent of chocolate milk.

calum was really in love with luke. he loved everything about him, he loved how luke always made calum feel like the most important person in the world.

he loved how luke always wanted his attention so he could just stare at him all day without being uncomfortable. that was just their relationship.

they just really loved each other.
