for the past few months, things have been the same between calum and luke. they both are deeply in love with each other and show it quite obviously, but haven't actually admitted it.

calum and luke were hanging out at the park together, luke pushing calum on the swing set. "wee!" calum squealed playfully as luke pushed him up and down.

luke planned that today he would ask calum to be his boyfriend. he wasn't nervous about it, he was very confident in himself. calum never talked about different girl or boy that interested him, so luke thought he had a chance.

"hey cal? do you want to go on the playground?" luke asked as calum swung by himself. his feet swayed from front to back, giving him more leverage.

"sure, let me get down first." he suggested. luke ran to in front of calum, holding his hands out. "calum, jump. i'll catch you."

calum looked unsure. "no luke, i'm going to break you with my weight!"

luke rolled his eyes. "calum, c'mon! i got you."

the kiwi shook his head, agreeing to the proposal. he swung his legs out and jumped off the swing, flying in mid air.

luke remained in his position, ready to catch calum in his arms.

unfortunately, luke wasn't very strong.

as calum started to land in his arms, luke started to fall as well, calum in his embrace. they both fell onto the ground, calum landing on top of luke's chest as he laid in the play sand.

"i guess we're falling for each other." luke chuckled, making calum blush. calum got up and shook off the sand off his shirt, pulling luke with him.

"race you to the monkey bars!" calum exclaimed, running to the playground. luke laughed and ran after him, trying to catch up to the younger boy.

he eventually caught up to calum and pulled him close to him, making him shriek as luke placed him over his shoulder, laughing in the process.

"hey! put me down, peasant!" calum breathed out, slapping luke's back. luke gasped playfully as he set calum on the ground, soon towering over him with his body.

he straddled calum's hips and placed both of his hands on either side of calum's body, trapping him. "oh, am i a peasant?" luke teased.

"yes, now get off me, peasant!" calum hollered, trying to pry luke off him.

luke's hands creeped to calum's sides slowly, then suddenly attacking him by tickling him.

"ohHAHAHmYHAHAHlucasHAHAHgetHAHAHAoFfHAHAHAmeHAHAHAH!" calum laughed, his faced turning red.

"say luke is the hottest guy on earth!"

calum couldn't take it anymore and shouted out the phrase, making luke stop in triumph. their faces were close together as their chests breathed up and down heavily.

luke leaned in closer, glancing at calum's lips. calum leaned in too, their lips at an unbearable distance. calum couldn't take it anymore and pulled luke's head down, their lips crashing together.

luke set his hands on calum's waist as calum slowly ran his fingers through luke's hair. they were in a tunnel on the playground, so that no one would see them.

as luke felt calum's fingers ruffle through his hair, he let out a small moan into the kiss, making calum blush once again.

they pulled apart and looked into each others eyes, smiling. luke slid down next to him and pulled him close into his chest.

"calum, will you uh, be uhm that you know, uhm-"

"what?"

luke gulped. "will you be like... my boyfriend thing?"

calum laughed. "yeah luke, i'll be your boyfriend thing."
