[kind of wishing i didnt put korean numbers bc i dont speak korean and i thought it looked cool but i dont know what the hell this says its just the numbers in korean and i always forget whats next]

"uh... luke? you're kind of- um..." calum mumbled as luke shot his eyes open, unwrapping his eyes from calum's waist.

"uh, fuck, i didn't mean to... i um..." calum laughed at the blonde as he blushed fiercely with crimson red smothering over his pigments.

calum sat up and soon luke followed, both of them now sitting next to each other.

the dark haired boy adjusted his sweatershirt, making him somewhat presentable to the other boy.

"i-it's okay." he smiled, his chubby cheeks becoming squishy. luke resisted the urge to squeeze them. [same]

"s-so, finished all your homework? what about the essay?" luke brought up, hoping it wouldn't stress calum out.

calum sighed and ran his hand through his hair. "everything's done, it's just, i have no idea what the hell i should write."

luke chuckled at him, pulling him up to his feet. "wha-what are you doing luke?"

luke pulled him to the door and told him to slip on his shoes, him doing the same as well.

"we're going to the cafe, and i'll help you brainstorm there."

//

luke parked the car, the cafe open and warm for them to retreat. calum widened his eyes at where luke parked.

unfortunately,

they parked at the farthest end of the parking lot away from the cafe,

and it was pouring.

"well, this is the only open spot... guess we'll have to run, sorry calum." he sheepishly smiled at him. calum said he didn't mind as they both set their hands on the door handles.

"on 3, we run out, okay?" calum whispered. luke nodded, ready.

"1..."

they both took a deep breath.

"2..."

they both had their hoods up.

"3!"

they opened the car doors and slammed it shut, bolting for the cafe. they both stayed together as the rain poured furiously on them, hitting them on their bodies.

"fuck!" calum laughed out as luke held his hand and dragged him, since with luke's long legs, he was surely faster than calum.

[no they wont get hit by a car]

they finally made it to the sidewalk, where there was shade. luke and calum both stopped on it, hands on their knees as they both bent down, trying to catch their breath.

"we... did... it..."

"yup. warm at last."

they entered the cafe to be met by several people drinking tea- or coffee- chatting with other people.

luke and calum made a beeline for the cashier since there was no line.

"how may i help you, the lovely couple?" the politely lady began, probably 15 or 16.

"uh were not-"

"yeah i'll have the medium black coffee." luke nervously smiled at calum.

calum smiled and said his order, "i'll have the uh small peppermint mocha."

calum reached into his pocket to reach for his wallet and of course, luke being the gentleman he is, smacked his hand away and pulled out his own wallet.

"but-"

"nope, calum i'm paying for this, go find us a table, okay?" luke obliged, making calum roll his eyes as he strolled off to find a vacant space.

"you guys are so cute." the cashier squealed, taking luke's money as she gave back the change and receipt.

"thanks."
