It had taken her a bit longer than expected but she had finally arrived at the Red Keep after making her way through the stinking capital city the poor wolf had refused to even enter. She had chosen to wear black pants and a blouse as it made riding quite a lot easier. She had merely had to show her sigil ring to the guards to be allowed in and then she had come face to face with the young king himself. Margery Tyrell by his side, as well as his mother while both women fight over whom has their claws in him the deepest. Swinging herself down from her horses back she smiles widely as he quickly makes his way to her, simply pulling his arm out of the Tyrells grasp. "Noah." "Joffree." She is pulled into his arms and after a few moments she wraps hers around him as well before stepping back. "I accept your deal. As long as you stay here in the capital Sansa Stark will be out of harm's way. But I'd like to add a term to it." "I'm not marrying you, Joffree.", Noah chuckles and the boy grins cheekily. "I know that. The other term is that you become my royal advisor. I know that the title of the hand can only be given to men. Therefore I summon you as an advisor. It was mother's idea and I thought it to be brilliant." "I can not give you advice for war matters though, Joffree." "What I want your advice for is the inner structures." Noah nods slightly. "That I shall manage. So it is a deal?" She holds out her hand and Joffree shakes it firmly, sealing the pact. "Now.. where is Sansa. I am tired but I believe this is a matter that can not wait. "The gardens. Follow me." Noah does as asked, taking his arm. "Wait. I need to greet your mother too." Joffree stops in his tracks and Noah steps to Cercei who watches her amusedly. "Milady.", Noah smiles, bowing slightly. "I am glad you are finally here. Even if what it took was keeping the Stark girl as leverage." "I am glad to see you too." The two women exchange a look and Cercei reaches out, taking both of Noah's hands into hers, squeezing them. "Thank you." The brunette smiles as an answer, then turns to Joffree who has watched them interact without acknowledging his new fiance, much to her surprise. "Now to Sansa please." She takes his arm again and they quickly make their way into the gardens where Noah spots the familiar auburn haired girl talking to Olenna and Loras Tyrell. "Can I go alone?" "Of course. This is now your home too. Sansa knows which room is yours. And tomorrow I will show you the entire keep down to the sept." "That would be most appreciated. Thank you. I'll see you then." Leaving his arm she first walks, then begins to run. "My sweet!", she calls out, immediately making the red haired girl snap up and look around until she spots her.
Sansa Stark jumps to her feet and without paying either Tyrells a piece of mind she runs, her skirts raised, to Noah, jumping into her arms. Sansa sobs like a child as Noah gently sways her, cradling her against her, pressing kisses on Sansa's hair. "I'm here now my sweet. I came to look after you.", Noah whispers, only making the young girl hold into her even tighter. Noah maneuvers them onto a garden bench where they simply sit and hold onto each other, not really noticing that Olenna and Loras Tyrell had made their way to them. "Noah.", Sansa snivels. "Yes, my sweet?" "What did you do to come here?" "I stood up to Lord Tywin and made a deal with Joffree to be his advisor and stay in kings landing. As long as I am here he has promised me you'll be safe. No one will touch you as long as I am there. You hear me?", Noah whispers and the girl nods, slowly moving away a bit. They look at each other like family does. "You haven't changed a bit.", Sansa smiles and Noah laughs. "And you have become a young lady. I honestly wish I had this idea earlier." Sansa only shakes her head. "You really mustn't do this for me." "Listen to me, okay my sweet?" Sansa and Noah leans close to her, pressing her lips against Sansas ear.
"I've just come back from sending Arya away to Essos to a friend of mine. I can hardly just leave you here to yourself." The girl looks at her shocked. "You did?" Noah nods and smiles slightly. "Shocking, right. Now I am soly looking after you." "Thank you. Then this room they recently decorated across mine is yours?" Noah nods slightly and Sansa laughs happily. "I can't believe you came for me. You always said you'd stay with mother." "She let me go. At first I only wanted to go visit Jon but then I got this idea how I could help you and.. well.. I just came here." "Who are you?" Noah finally realized that there are two pairs of eyes resting on them. Six if one counts Margery Tyrell who has just stepped to them. "This is Noah Mars. She was our caretaker and teacher in Winterfell. She took care of us for more than two years now. She even killed the man that tried to murder my brother and mother.", Sansa introduces Noah who simply sits, keeping her eyes on Sansa with adoration in her eyes. "And her loyalties?" Noah looks up, then places a hand against her chest, showing just how extremely well shaped she is under the usually not very form fitting clothing. "My loyalty stands with the North and with the Starks until my last day in this world and beyond." "You must be stupid to declare that out loud." "I struck a bargain with king Joffree Baratheon himself. I'll stay here in kings landing as it is his wish and I will advise him as he asked me to in return for Sansa's safety. There is nothing going to change about my stay here by saying it loudly. Both him and Queen regent Cercei know it well. I've told them before in Winterfell. And I told Tywin Lannister the same when we met a few days prior. I have been working for the Starks almost as soon as I came to Westeros. They became my family as well and I will do what I can to keep them out of harm's way. I've lost too many already. I can not loose any more." "Who have you lost? Tell me Noah!" Noah looks at Sansa saddened. "One too many. I lost your father. Isn't that enough?" Noah looks at Sansa who holds onto her hands. "He thought you to be one of us, you know that, right? He truly would have wanted you to marry Robb." "If my heart wasn't taken even before I came to Westeros, my sweet, I would have thrown myself at your brother the moment he first asked for my hand. If only to be guaranteed a stay with all of you in Winterfell. Ned was always so good to me. And your mother is the best friend I ever had. Bran, Rickon and Arya and you of course feel like you were my own although I am far too young to be your mother. So is Jon. I truly wish it could all be like that again." Sansa's lip quivers while Noah bites hers to hide that she too wanted to cry. "Do you remember father as he watched the boys practice archery with Bran and Arya hitting bullseye before he did?" Noah nods slightly. "I miss him, Noah." "Me too, my sweet. Me too." The Tyrells had quickly understood that this woman was no threat to their attempt at claiming a part of the crown. Her only intention was to keep Sansa Stark safe. They truly knew each other. So much was certain.
"Could you show me to my chambers, Sansa? I do believe I need a bath. We could talk a bit more there." Sansa nods quickly. "Yes please. May I not stay in your room for the night?" "Of course you may." Sansa smiles, her hand holding that of Noah tightly. Hand in hand like sisters they walk through the garden. Close to one another's side and Noah was certain that she had made the right choice.
