Tearing his gaze away from Theo, Lucas smiled as he walked over to Melissa. Pulling her hand away from Ryan's head, she ran into his arms. He caught her, spinning her around as she wrapped her legs around his waist and kissed him deeply. He dipped her forward before standing up straight and placing her on the ground. She kept her arms wrapped around his neck as they rested their foreheads against one another's.

"You were incredible. I couldn't see anything, but I knew you were kicking ass."

She giggled. "That's because I had an incredible teacher."

He threw his head back and groaned. "We have a moment, and you go and bring Mikey into this."

"Of course I do. Without him, Ryan and Theo would be dead."

"I helped the second time," he mumbled.

Scratching behind Lucas's ear, she smiled cheekily as she said, "Who's a good boy?" as though she was talking to a dog. As Lucas playfully shook his leg like a dog, she laughed so hard she crouched over. He leaned over to kiss her softly on the lips. "But seriously, thank you for waiting for my signal. I know how you get when I'm in the middle of a fight."

"I know. I can fly, but I can't do much else."

"But you did so great. I am so proud of you, Mr. Moth."

Ryan and Theo couldn't look at their mates as they kissed. They turned away and faced the other mythicals. They all bowed their heads, silently thanking the two fallen werewolves and one fallen sprite who died for the protection and rights of other mythicals.

"Is this going to go on forever?" one werewolf asked. "Even if we were to kill all the hunters, who's the say new ones won't come in the later years."

"We are peace loving people. No matter what, we fight for protection, not anger. The anger comes out when those threatening our safety and existence try to kill us."

"We've killed so many hunters, their families must be wanting revenge on those who killed them. They don't care who provoked who, they just know they have a resentment towards us."

"We need to come to an agreement. There has to be a way to invoke peace," Ryan stated.

"Are you insisting on a peace treaty?" Theo questioned.

"That could work," another wolf stated. "We can come to an agreement and have it in writing that we won't attack them so long as they quit attacking us." She looked at Ryan. "Alpha, will you be able to form something up?"

He sighed. "You know that I'll have to go to congress or some shit to get it taken care of. And we know that if this were to be instilled, I'd have to be part of some high council, right?"

"We have loads of mythicals in congress. Sure, people never knew about it before, but they do now. This could be revolutionary if we could get it to pass. It could change the way people look at everyone in the world."

"It could be beneficial. But at the end of the day, how do we know justice will be served if someone does try to kill our kind in a hate crime?"

"All we can really do is hold on to hope," Theo sighed.

As the mythicals began to drag the bodies away, wanting to take them home to give them a proper burial, a dagger flew past Theo's ear, barely grazing him. He gasped, turning his head towards Melissa as she stepped closer to him with her arms crossed. "I didn't have to miss, you know."

"What the hell is wrong with you?" he snapped.

"Why didn't you tell me you were a werewolf?"

His eyes widened, and he lowered his head in shame.
