"So what's the fire?"

The race just finished and even if I did win the game, halos wala na akong pakealam sa nangyari. I am just so mad and frustrated about everything that I just want to race it all away.

Unfortunately, as the adrenaline kick in mas lalo ko lang naramdaman ang tibok ng puso ko. I feel like I am going crazy!

"You're still mad." Alex said as a matter of fact. Napatingin ako sa kanya as I show off a bored look. Napabuntong-hininga ako.

"It's not enough. Let's go for a drink?" Mabilis kong sabi.

"But you have to drive home?" Mike said. Napairap naman ako sa kawalan.

"I'll leave the car behind then!" Padabog kong sabi at tumayo na. Heck, I'll probably just stay in the nearest hotel. I don't even want to go back home.

Nagkaroon naman ng ideya ang aking utak. Right! The benefits! There might be a near accommodation associated to the university. I'll stay there and everything's free! I won't have to worry since I'll just have to hide the record of me staying there.

Sounds like a good plan.

Ramdam ko na gusto niyang magsalita o magtanong man lang sa akin but I am thankful that he didn't do either way. He simply patted my head and head towards our cars.

"Hold your drink, Topaz." Bilin ni Mike and I simply nodded. We'll see.

We're currently in a vip lounge.

Gosh, I wish I could be as carefree as them.

I slowly sip the drink I had as I turned on my phone again.

"What the hell?" JC exclaimed when he heard the continuous vibration of my phone.

"You're dating someone?" He probably saw the caller id.

Napabuntong-hininga ako.

"You know that it's nothing like that, Alex. I'd never date someone." Irap kong sabi at inignore ang missed calls at text messages. Instead I quickly opened the app of WU and searched for the nearest hotel.

Nang makakita ay agad akong nag-book ng room at naglist ng terms including that my stay wouldn't be recorded.

"What's that?" Tanong ni Alex nang makita ang application. I quickly turned off my phone again and shook him off.

"Just a stupid application." I said at muling nag-salin ng drink sa aking glass. He stared at me for a while and shrugged his shoulders.

Minute by minute, unti-unti kong nararamdaman ang pagkahilo. I was also starting to feel restless. I figured that they probably just nodded and continue talking to each other.

I slowly walked down the stairs as push my hair back with my fingers. All these stupid lights are blinding me!

"Fucking lights." I whispered as soon as I got on the dancefloor.
