Parents

I just finished messaging everyone about the meeting Hiro wanted to arrange. I told them that it was a firm decision to be made eventually dahil hindi pwedeng gumalaw ang council nang hindi nagkakasundo. I was pretty sure that they will all agree to what I said kaya naman hindi na ako nagtaka nang hindi sila nagreklamo at um-oo na lamang. 

I'm still thinking whether to join the meeting or not. Naiisip ko na it's about Mea and I am beyond those issues. Hindi ako parte ng grupo nila and I feel like I will just simply intrude kung sasama ako na wala namang koneksyon doon. 

Yeah, I should just probably not join. They should resolve their personal issues and clearly, I am out of that. That would be better. After all, I already arranged the date of the meeting tsaka, ayaw ko na rin naman makita si Hiro matapos ang nangyari noon sa cafe. 

That day. 

Napasabunot ako sa aking buhok nang maalala iyon. Gosh, I can't believe I actually indirectly said that there was something going on between us! I mean, iyon ang pakiramdam ko. But, what if it's different for him? That would be so embarrassing in my part! But then again, I am sure there was really something that Hiro and I should never ever go to. I also made sure that this is simply a phase of confusion. This will just pass by anytime soon! Tsaka, nothing good will come to me kung ipagapatuloy ko lang kung ano man ito.

Maybe I really did oppose to what Dad said about Hiro's family but I am still bothered for that reason. I know that he wouldn't get mad over something trivial that's why I am sure there's something I don't know yet. 

Napabuntong-hininga ako at tuluyan nang humiga sa kama. Here I am again, stuck with these thoughts. Nang itinagilid ko ang aking tingin, nakita ko ang family picture namin sa mini table. I lingered my  stare on the picture for a while hanggang sa dapuan ako ng antok.

Dahil ngayong araw ang meeting, hindi rin ako makakapunta sa council hall. Dahil doon ay napagdesisyunan kong bumisita na lang muli sa cafeteria sa right division. Napangisi ako nang mapatingin sa orasan. Once a rule breaker, always a rule breaker. It's already 4pm at closed na iyon. 

Bumuka ang aking bibig sa aking na-realize. Sally was long gone. I completely forgot everything about her! Sa sobrang daming nangyari ay talagang nawala iyon sa isipan ko. Now, that problem is now that she's gone, I can't sneak in inside! 

Nanatili akong nakatayo sa labas ng back entrance ng cafeteria nag-iisip kung paano pumasok.

"Miss Monteverde?" Nagulat ako sa pagbating iyon kaya agad akong napalingon sa aking likuran. 

"Ms. Margarette?" Naguguluhan ko ng tanong. Why is she here?! At lalong bakit siya sa back entrance dumaan? 

"I see you still haven't changed. You still sneak inside this cafeteria." Nakangisi nitong sabi at lalo akong nahiya. I am the queen of the royalties yet she found me in this situation! What an embarrassment. 

I awkwardly laughed and spoke, "Ngayon lang po ulit." 

"Well then, since nandito ka na rin lang. Would you like to join me for a coffee?" Tanong nito sa akin at tumango na lamang ako. 

Napangiti ito sa akin at pumasok na. I followed after her at napansin ang pagbati nito sa bagong staff. She quickly asked for two drinks. Mabilis kong sinabi na Americano ang akin kaya naman napatango ang babae. 

"Over here." Sabi ng Dean at lumapit rin ako sa pwestong napili niya. I quickly sat down and awkwardly checked the windows. Napansin ko namang panibago na iyon. Muntik pa akong mapairap sa akin sarili. Of course, napalitan na! It has been months since that sniper incident!
