I woke up from a peaceful sleep. It was nice for once. I yawned, gently rubbed my eyes, and embraced the warmth coming from the sun. I walk out into the living area. Jungkook wasn't there... The house seemed still. I found a note on the counter and picked it up.

I smiled a little and threw it away. At least he's safe. Then I noticed an envelope. I opened it... My first paycheck!!! How much did I-?

I decided to get ready for the day. I wore a casual outfit, not as nice as I'd like it, but it was something. I looked in the fridge. Right.. I'm always secretly eating at Jungkook's while he's gone. I keep forgetting to buy groceries. Maybe the payment could help cover that... But I need to pay my bills when they come again... Gosh..... Or maybe.. I could use it for a proper burial for my mother..... I've been pretty good at hiding it, especially from myself, but it still hurts...knowing my only family is gone forever.... Ugh.. what should I do? My phone rang out of nowhere.
Y/n: "Hello?"
Hoseok: "Hey! Good morning."
Y/n: "Good morning Hobi! Why are you calling?"
Hoseok: "I was wondering if you wanted to visit later. Everyone's been super stressed and tired during work lately. I think our boss fell asleep." He chuckled, talking about Jungkook.
Y/n: "I wouldn't mind! But why me?"
Hoseok: "Everyone's been wanting to see you. We're worried. Also anxious. Besides, you're our friend! Why wouldn't we want to see you?"
Y/n: "Aww, that's so sweet. I'd love to come! What time would be best?"
Hoseok: "We all have a lunch break around 12:35. You can meet us at the company if you'd like." I smiled.
Y/n: "Ok! I'll see you then!! Goodbye!" He chuckled.
Hoseok: "Goodbye my little strawberry!" We hung up. Well... I just have to wait.... Three more hours... I should call about my car. I'm not too excited to walk. Especially after yesterday. I dialed the number for the car company and let it ring for a bit.
Company: "Hello?"
Y/n: "Hello. I-i'm Y/n. Y/n Kim?... D-do you remember me? My car broke down a while ago and I was asking to see if it was ready or not..."
Company: "Hmm... Oh yes! Miss Kim! We had trouble finding how to contact you without your number, but yes. It's ready. Would you like to pick it up or have it dropped off at your home?"
Y/n: "Oh.. I'd like it dropped off please."
Company: "Great! We're on our way!"
Y/n: "Ok, thank you very much!"
Company: "No problem Miss!" I hung up after. Now I just have to wait...

About two hours later, the doorbell rang. That should be them giving me my car back!! I got excited and quickly opened the door. A tall, handsome man was standing there. I stared with big eyes.
Man: "You're Y/n Kim, right?" I nodded. He smiled and handed me a clipboard with a form.
Man: "Just sign here to show that it was delivered." I nodded.
Y/n: "Is everything fixed?" I asked, during it. I handed the paper back to him.
Man: "Almost there's one thing that needs fixing. But you'd have to do it." Great....
Y/n: "Oh? What do I need to fix?" He stepped closer, leaving at most an inch between us. I felt uncomfortable.
Man: "This boner you caused me." What the heck is a boner?? Whether it was sexual or not, I wanted to barf. I pushed him away.
Y/n: "Excuse me Sir.... But..... I-im taken..." He smirked.
Man: "So would you help if you weren't?" Gosh, what is wrong with this guy?!
Y/n: "No! I don't even know you!"
Man: "Then come with me. Let's get to know each other." He winked. Why can't he just leave???
Y/n: "Sigh... Thank you for returning my car. You can leave now." He frowned.
Man: "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to frighten you." I stood behind the door.
Y/n: "Just.... Have a good day sir...." I mumbled, closing the door. I closed it, then locked it just in case. I didn't breathe until I saw him drive away. Gosh.. guys have no respect for women nowadays. At least I lucked out this time. Who knows what would've happened if he didn't drive away.

After about 35 minutes passed by, I was finally on my way to see everyone! After listening to my favorite music, I finally arrived. It was a lot bigger than I imagined. I entered, and a lot of people stared at me. I just smiled shyly and walked around, hoping to find the conference room I was told to meet in. After a while, I found it! Room 17A. I was about to knock on the door, but I heard voices. One sounded familiar, the other didn't. I listened.
Jungkook: "I love you. So much... I don't think I could ever live without you."
Woman: "You really know how to pull girl's heartstrings don't you?" She giggled. I recognized that laugh. Lisa.... I couldn't be mishearing this, could I? I wish I was.. I don't think I could look him in the eye the same... I can't believe I saw him like he was different. He's just like the rest. Playing me like a toy..... Tricking me.. I knocked on the door, then opened it fearfully. I opened the door to find them kissing..... Jungkook immediately pushed her away, looking at my direction. I was heartbroken... It hasn't even been a full three days and he's already cheating?!... My eyes filled with water.
Jungkook: "I-i can explain!" He said, standing up. I shook my head.
Y/n: "It's fine. You don't have to.." I hiccuped, walking away quickly. He called to me, but I ran. I ran until I couldn't see or hear him. I ran into another room, thinking it was empty. It was Hoseok's office. Crap.. I couldn't help but let tears fall down my face constantly. He looked at me with surprise, then looked worried.
Hoseok: "Y/n.. what happened? What's wrong??" I bit my lip.
Y/n: "I-it's all Jungkook's fault... I should've never let myself get close to him... He's just like the rest!" I exclaimed.
Hoseok: "What do you mean? I'm sure it was a accident..whatever he did."
Y/n: "How can you accidently play with a girl's heart?!" I asked. He was about to say something, walking towards me quickly, but I opened the door and ran again. I ran outside the building. I didn't know where to go, but I knew I was better off alone. I hiccuped, wiping my eyes. I didn't stop. I didn't want to. How could he do this? His feelings seemed so genuine... I can't believe I have in so quickly... Letting him take my first kiss...... God what is wrong with me?! I kept running until I ran out of breath. I walked into the mall I stopped by, and found a bathroom. I stayed in a stall for a bit to help calm down. I can't think of another scenario that could've explained what just happened. I took out my phone and called Yoongi.
Yoongi: "Hello?" I paused, hiccupping.
Yoongi: "Y/n? Are you crying? What's wrong? Are you hurt?" I sniffed.
Y/n: "C-can you help me when you get off of work?" I asked.
Yoongi: "Of course! For what?" I called him knowing he lived farther away from Jungkook than the others. We'll see how this goes...
Y/n: "I'll explain later... But... D-do you think I could stay with you until things get better?"
Yoongi: "Of course. I wouldn't mind that at all. But why me? Why not Jungkook? You guys are the closest, aren't you?" I let another tear fall after hearing his name.
Y/n: "He's the last person I want to see... Do you think you could keep this a secret? Please?..." I asked.
Yoongi: "Of course.. I promise. I get off around 5:00. We can meet somewhere if you need to be picked up. Are you close by the company?"
Y/n: "No.. I ran away.. I'm sorry I couldn't stay long enough for lunch." I apologized.
Yoongi: "It's alright. Just call me if you need anything anytime, alright?"
Y/n: "Ok.. thank you so much..."
Yoongi: "Of course. See you soon. Be careful."
Y/n: "Ok.. see you.." I said, then he hung up. I cleaned myself up and decided to calm down. Maybe even buy a couple things for myself. I finally got paid for once, so that helps...
