- betrayal?

Taehyung's pov*

"And you just left? You could have checked on her!"

Jimin said in a worried tone and I shook my head with a blank face.

"Why should I? Who is she to me?"

I said shortly and saw him shaking his head in disbelief.

"You just asked her to marry you and then you left her in the middle of the road, in the middle of the night. And while she was in pain! Bro just trust me. No one would marry you if you act like this."

He spoke and I just looked at him with a calm expression, "I'm not going to marry her whatsoever, she is a thief and a liar. I could just imagine her crying at everything I tell her. Just see how bad she bit my hand."

I ranted while showing my palm.

"Thank God..."

I frowned at his words, is he really my bestfriend? "Huh?"

"I mean her life is saved since you are not marrying her."

He explained and I sighed in dissappointment.

"Taehyung, you should really stop all of this. Guys at your age finds a woman whom they can love but you just want to marry for your position."

Jimin said, "Jin Hyung did the same."

He just face palmed himself as if I said something stupid.

"But he treated her nicely. He wasn't rude or heartless like you. He knows how to treat a woman but you just hurt others."

I nodded at his words, I was not hurt at all, we were always like this. We could openly point out bad in each other without feeling hurt.

"That's why I want to be in his place!! We all know that. I was destined there and he should have been on my place. This act nice and respectful is not my thing! If only dad wasn't so selfish about me. I could take that position."

I ranted again, letting everything out of my heart.

"But he only wished the best for you Taehyung...that work is risky. Your life would be in danger and he is your dad."

Jimin tried to convince me but even he knew his words were useless.

"I don't know anything. I just want to handle all those illegal businesses. I don't want all this fame and popularity. I know Jin Hyung is trying his best but you all know I can do better. And I will. Now, nothing can stop me."

I said with determination.
