CHAPTER TWENTY THREE

"Y/n, I'm fine now," Jin spoke for the 100th time and glanced at you to see you already dozed off, you had not left his side for even a second and were glued to him like a koala, his arm was covered with bandages and the blood was still visible, your heart broke into million pieces when you saw him in that condition.

Though he kept a smile on his face just for you, you knew he was not fine and you felt helpless that you could do nothing.

Pecking your forehead, your brother lovingly caressed your forehead and looked at Jungkook who was smiling unknowingly after watching that, "Take her to her room" The younger one nodded and picked you up in his arms, bridal style.

"Hyung, don't forget your medicines" Jungkook whispered and the elder one nodded in defeat, stepping out of the room, the bunny is carefully carrying your fragile body in his arms but because of the movements, you are waking up and confusingly looking at him.

And when you remember everything, you are jumping off from him, "Oppa-" "Y/n stop! You shouldn't go there." Jungkook spoke and stopped you from running back.

"But-" "Listen, he won't be able to rest properly if you are there. I made sure that he ate and he is fine now. You don't have to worry that much. Come with me now, you need to eat something!" Without giving you a chance to speak, the bunny is continuously talking and dragging you downstairs.

"But I'm not hungry." You said with a sad pout and he looked at your gloomy face, "But you haven't had anything today. Jin Hyung is worried, do you want to trouble him in this state?" You shook your head quietly at his words and gave in.

You just thought of eating a little but you ended up eating a lot because of Jungkook. Boy for real wouldn't stop shoving more into your plate.

And now you feel like your stomach is turned into a balloon.

Peaking through the window, you saw your brother sleeping peacefully and you smiled sadly, "Get well soon." You whispered lowly and walked towards your room.

But you stopped in your tracks when you heard Taehyung's voice, yelling at someone.

"I tried my best for fuck's sake! If only I could kill him when I got the chance but I couldn't! He was there right in front of me and I even shot him but he made it out alive! I had one thing to do and I couldn't even do it fucking right."

Your eyes widened when you hear his words, it felt like all those doubtful thoughts you were having were connecting at one point. He was in Japan last night and now this. You couldn't believe it.

"Next time if I get another chance. Just one another chance, I will kill him with my bare hands." You gasped loudly at his words and panicked as you unknowingly made a sound.

Automatically, your feets dragged you toward your room and you hid inside in fear.

"Taehyung? Are you listening to me?"

A worried Jimin asked through the phone and Taehyung stopped peaking outside, "Yeah I am, I just thought someone was here."

"That's what you should be careful about. You think about nothing when you are angry. What if anyone hears you? What if Y/n hears you!? Listen you tried your best and eventually you saved Jin Hyung. If you were not there worse could have happened."

"But still. I couldn't kill that guy. He dared hurt my Hyung." Taehyung spoke with his lips trembling in anger,  "Jimin I will talk later." With that, he ended the call.

Marching outside his room, he is not sparing a glance at anyone and stomping towards the basement to take his anger out.

On the other hand, tears are flowing out of your eyes like a waterfall. Your mind seem to be going crazy after what you overheard a while ago.
