"Have you seen Logan?" Patton asked. "I haven't seen him since break.

Roman looked over and shook his head. "Not sure. I think he said something about having to go home as the bell rang. I was to busy stopping somebody from eating a pin of the notice board to hear him properly."

He leaned back in his chair and glared at Remus, who giggled. Roman looked at the chip he had just picked up like he was contemplating throwing it at his brother.

"I wanted to see what would happen! It was an experiment!" Remus said defensively, flailing his arms as if eating a pins was a totally rational thing to do.

Remus had only been at the school for a week but Virgil was already sick of him. He constantly pestered Virgil and teased Patton, trying to make him uncomfortable. It worked a lot of the time, which pissed Roman off to no end.

The four boys were sitting around a table between some shelves in the library eating lunch. Well, Virgil, Roman and Patton were sitting. Remus was perched precariously on the back of a chair in a way that couldn't have been in any way comfortable or safe, but then, those things didn't seem to matter to him.

Ignoring the looks Remus was attracting, Virgil turned his attention back to Patton. "Have you messaged Logan? Asked him where he's at?"

Patton nodded and stole one of Roman's chips. Roman made an indignant noise.

"What? My boyfriend is presumably at home and I have to steal food from someone. Virgil's finished his and I'm scared of Remus so I must steal yours. Anyway, I messaged Logan but he hasn't responded,"

Virgil pulled his phone out of his pocket. "I'll try text him, see if he'll respond,"

"Ok, thanks," Patton said, nodding.

Virgil opened his phone and tapped out a quick message to Logan. He was surprised to receive a reply rather quickly.

[StressedandDepressed] hey logan where r u? pattons kinda worried

[MicrosoftNerd] I'm at home. family thing tell Patton im sorry

Virgil frowned at the abruptness of the text but brushed it off, putting it down to whatever 'family thing' Logan had to deal with. He slipped his phone back into his pocket, almost dropping it in the process before looking back up at Patton.

"He says he at home. Some 'family thing'.
Said to tell you he's sorry, for not replying I'd assume,"

Patton looked confused for a moment, his brow furrowing, before his face relaxed and he nodded. "That's fair," he said, stealing another one of Roman's chips. Roman didn't even try to protest or stop him this time.

Remus looked at Patton for a moment before saying, "he's probably-,"

He only got halfway through the sentence before Roman placed a hand over his mouth, cutting him off, "If you finish that I will hit you,"

Remus made an indignant noise, furrowing his brow before staring straight at Roman, who suddenly whipped his hand away from his brothers mouth.

"Did you just lick me?!," he said angrily, wiping his hand on his brothers shoulder. Remus giggled hysterically and almost fell of his chair. Roman glared at him as Virgil and Patton hid faces of disgust mixed with amusement.

"You're disgusting," Roman said. Remus ignored him, continuing to laugh to himself until the bell rang.

Hey, sorry it's been a minute. You'd think with me not being able to go outside I'd write more but nope. I'm just procrastinating more.

Anyway, bit of a shorter chapter, cause writers block. The shits gonna hit the fan soon so hopefully they'll be longer soon.

Oh and since the last chapter there's now 34K reads and I'm just- wtf?! How??
Did that happen??
